EA FC 27 Ultimate Edition not playable on Steam
Hi everyone, I redeemed a retail key for EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition on Steam on September 18, 2026, but I am unable to play. Steam correctly lists "EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition" in my account licenses, along with "Ultimate Edition - Redemption Grant." However, the game remains locked. My library shows "Coming Sep 24," and the Play button was disabled. After uninstalling the game, the only available option is "Preload." This is not just an issue with the cover art or edition name. I genuinely cannot launch the game or access early access. When I select "Redeem Additional Content," I receive the following message: "You have no remaining content to redeem." I have already cleared Steam's download cache and uninstalled the game, but neither action resolved the issue. Steam still only offers Preload. These are the license details returned by the Steam console: App ID: 4080220 License package ID: 1614928 License state: Active (flags 0x0) Activation method: CD Key Activation date: September 18, 2026 Activation country: BR Included apps: 4080220, 4917970, 4978770 The output of "package_info_print 1614928" shows these values in the extended section: allowcrossregiontradingandgifting: false entitledpackage: 1727798 There is no "releasestateoverride" entry in that output. I do not know whether this is relevant, but I am including it in case it helps with troubleshooting. I have seen other users reporting similar problems, but I have not found a confirmed fix. Could an EA community manager or support representative check whether retail package 1614928 is eligible and correctly enabled for Ultimate Edition early access? Is this a known issue with retail keys? Is there a workaround, or does it require a correction to the package or account entitlement? Any confirmed solution or update would be appreciated. So i bought fc and when i got to steam and launch i get that popup window where it does something and it end with launching so i thought it wouldve launched but it doesnt its like it dissappears and it doesnt show up in task manager. I’m having a major issue with EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team on PS5. The game has been repeatedly freezing/crashing when trying to enter Ultimate Team and also while navigating menus. Majority of the time it freezes/crashes on the loading screen when entering Ultimate Team, and if I do get in, it freezes/crashes again at random times while do simple tasks such as navigating through the menus or looking at the transfer market. The only way I can resolve this is by completely closing down the game, only for it to happen again. I’ve also had a Transfer Market issue where I bid on a player, the auction ends and says my bid is the highest, but when I check Transfer Targets it says I lost the auction. Platform: PS5 Mode: Ultimate Team Troubleshooting already tried: Deleted local files from Customise > Profile > Delete Power cycled PS5 Reinstalled the game Checked restore licenses Confirmed my PlayStation account is linked to my EA Account Checked server status, which shows online Cleared cache through Safe Mode The issue is still happening. Hi everyone, I’m experiencing the exact same crashing/freezing issue in FC 27 that I had throughout FC 26, and at this point it’s becoming extremely frustrating. I’m playing on an Xbox Series S. During a match, the game will suddenly freeze completely for around 3 seconds, then crash and quit straight back to the Xbox home screen. This usually happens around the second or third match, and when I restart the game, the match is counted as a loss because of the disconnection. What makes this even more frustrating is that I already reported this exact issue during FC 26. I contacted EA Support multiple times and went through the suggested troubleshooting, but the problem was never actually resolved. Now I’ve moved to FC 27 and the same problem is happening again. How is this still happening across two games? I’m not talking about an occasional crash — this has been a recurring issue that can completely ruin a match and give me a loss for something that is clearly caused by the game crashing. EA, I really need an actual explanation and solution this time. Please don’t just send the usual generic troubleshooting steps. I’ve already gone through those with support before. Is anyone else on Xbox Series S experiencing the same freezing → crash → Xbox home screen issue in FC 27? If EA staff are reading this, please acknowledge the issue and explain whether it is being investigated. I’m having a persistent issue with EA SPORTS FC 27 on PS5. Every time the game reaches the message saying my PSN account is connecting to the EA Servers, the screen turns completely white and stays there indefinitely. The game does not fully crash because the FC 27 background music continues playing behind the white screen. Offline mode works normally. I can enter the offline menus, but if I press R2 to reconnect to EA Servers, I immediately get the same white screen again. I have already tried restoring licenses, restarting the PS5, clearing the system cache, rebuilding the database, testing a different internet connection and mobile hotspot, changing DNS, deleting and restoring saved data, checking my EA account connection, and verifying that my PSN and EA accounts are linked correctly. Is anyone else experiencing this exact white-screen issue on PS5?
