Game Settings reset to default on Xbox
Season 26 launched today so I decided to play this morning everything was fine played for 30min max..came back home a few hours later turned the game back on this time apex new terms and agreements pops up so I accept it a soon as I load in all my settings have been completely wiped and set back to standard im assuming?anyone else having this problem? It continues to appear regularly in EA Forums, Reddit, Microsoft and Playstation support threads, and gaming communities. It’s time to acknowledge that this is not a user mistake – this is a systemic failure in account management and support policy. The Problem Xbox and Playstation profiles often become automatically linked to old EA accounts – sometimes accounts that are no longer accessible, deleted, or tied to an email that no longer exists. Players cannot unlink the Xbox/PS profile from the EA account unless they verify the original EA account. If the user has no access to the email or recovery methods (due to age, lost credentials, or deactivated accounts), EA support refuses to help. Microsoft/Sony confirms they cannot unlink EA accounts on their end. EA's stance is rigid: “No verification, no unlinking.” Even if the account is clearly inactive or the user is verified through Xbox/PS->Origin credentials. Support tickets are often closed without action. Chats end with no resolution. Users are passed between departments, but nothing changes. What Players Are Asking For We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for a realistic, user-focused solution to a well-known issue. Specifically: A process for unlinking Xbox or Playstation accounts when the original EA account cannot be recovered. This could involve verifying identity via Xbox Live/PSN data, Xbox/PS account ownership, or linking proof. Better support escalation paths. Not just canned responses and auto-closed tickets. Real human review for unresolved account access cases. Transparency on what can and cannot be done. Many users are told “there’s nothing we can do” – while others manage to get unlinking done after dozens of failed attempts. The policy is inconsistent. The Bigger Picture Many affected users have: Lost access to EA Play/Game Pass benefits despite paying for them. Abandoned EA games completely because the account issues make playing impossible. Created entirely new Xbox/PSN accounts, losing years of progress and purchases. Spent hours or days dealing with EA support without a single result. When I opened the game for the first time today, this message appeared: "There was a problem processing game logic. I have tried to verify the file in Steam - Steam support: Verifying the integrity of the game file. Unfortunately, it still didn't work. Moreover, I tried re-downloading but it didn't help either. Additionally, my Windows and graphics driver programs have been updated to the latest version, but I also tried switching to other servers, or changing the game language to English before logging in, but still no response. I loaded up the game eager to go play my favourite mode, Manager career mode. In this specific save I had spent countless hours building around Serie bkt team: Palermo. Then I tried to go play the mode when I see the text saying "there is no loaded save". I was devastated seeing this, but I still thought it was a visual glitch. Then I go into my second favourite game mode, Ultimate team but that doesn't load either so I close the game hoping that the visual glitch would go away and I could play my manager career. I open the game again, but this time there isn't even a possibility to continue the save, it's just two options "New career mode save" and "load career mode save". Obviously I tried to pick the second option but it just tells me that "there is no loaded save". Then I try every possible thing I could think of. At the same time my hope of me getting to play my favourite mode diminishes. As I'm writing this it's already been a torturous hour of me not getting to play my favourite mode. I've tried to find where the save file in the game files would be but it's just a bunch of random letters. So now I'm asking you, EA, to help me in my helplessness. I opened a Seasonal Supply Pack and when I went to redeem the Breakthrough TOTW Provisions Pack it said "There Was a Problem Connecting to the Football Ultimate Team servers. Please try again later." I get the unable to process request error every single time i try to click start match h2h. I’ve cleared cache, verify and repaired files. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Deleted all files in game and put everything to default and nothing. How can you release an unfinished game especially 7 days early? Superstar mode is a huge letdown! I need to be able to see season stats, contracts, awards/progress rankings, news articles etc… basically everything that’s been in the mode for years. If you add all that back and fix the buggy sphere of influence then the game would be decent. Y'all literally make this mode like we are gonna just play a couple of seasons and be done. I like to play my career until the end and it seems like over the years of Madden after you get through your 1st or 2nd season everything gets real glitchy. No more interactions and if there are it’s the same interactions every in game year. Now let’s talk about in game sights, sounds and pageantry. I’m a packers fan and let’s just say the sounds of Lambeau Field are very inaccurate. Where is the Go Pack Go chants with the packers theme music playing throughout the stadium? Where’s the fireworks and cell phone lights/light shows during pregame entrance? Also when you run out for the first snap all it shows is what round and pick you were drafted. I want to see updated season stats showing what kind of season you are having etc.. It would also be nice if we can get the Lambeau Leap put in the game as a celebration.
