Cannot enter HUT mode. Download has failed. NHL 26
Please try again is what I keep getting. I have unplugged my router, my xbox, and restarted the game. Still, I cannot enter HUT. It says, "unable to download rosters. I have a stealth 500 Xbox headset (that connects via usb Bluetooth to the console) and an Xbox series X. My headset works fine for other games, but NHL 26 (and 25) both recognize the headset as a controller connected to the lead profile. When I try to access online gameplay, such as in HUT, Online versus, or in queue for World of Chel in my club, I receive a message stating "lead profile required". And I either can't access the menu to search for a game, or the game registers no input from my controller. In NHL 25, I used to be able to workaround the issue by power cycling my game, my console and headset. At the very least, I used to be able to get into the game and then turn on my headset to force NHL to recognize my controller as the lead profile. This year, no amount of power cycling has worked. If I turn on my headset, even in the middle of a game in progress, NHL switches my controller to "2nd controller" and my headset is recognized as the lead profile. Turning my headset off doesn't fix the issue and I'm forced to idle until I am kicked from the game. Since I typically only play NHL in world of chel, with my brothers in an Xbox party, this is a major inconvenience. Does anyone have any similar experiences or suggestions?How do I get help with logging into my account?

What if I get an error when I try to log in? Login errors can point to a few different situations. Check out the sections below for tips that can help with some common login errors. “Your email address could be invalid or you may have recently updated it.” You might have entered the wrong email address, or your email might not be linked to an EA Account. Learn more about updating your account information. “Your login credentials have expired.” Try resetting your EA Account password. This will usually help in most cases. I received a temporary PlayStation Network communications ban (7 day mute) a few weeks back which isn't really an issue since I don't talk or really send messages anyway (and I can just use the integrated Discord lol), but I noticed WoC specifically refused to work. I could play other EA titles like Battlefield 6, Split Fiction (whose whole shtick is communication co op), and Dead Space which at one point collected voice data for a promotional video showcasing scare reaction moments, and even head straight into HUT, but the initial load screen leading into WoC caused a "crash" of sorts. When you have these types of mutes, you get a pop up message informing you to "check your settings and to ask for permission from a parent/guardian, or I guess you just straight up have a ban? Woah that's crazy" (thanks for the laugh, PSN). Anyway, in most other titles and games this popup usually shows up at the main menu. For HUT it shows up when loading in but can be easily dismissed. In WoC specifically, this popup happens during the initial load into the HUB but unlike HUT, when you exit out, it causes the load to stop and quits you back to the main NHL 26 menu, effectively blocking you from entering so you can't even change jerseys and stuff. 100% reproducibleroster
I noticed that the AHL rosters are missing players and signed contracts with AHL teams and there are also errors in the free agent list because some players signed contracts in Europe and are among the free agents If I play in organization mode, among the free players there are some who actually play in Europe and are signed with European teams.The game is broken
THIS GAME IS BY FAR THE WORST HOCKEY GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN MY 25 years of loving this game and you just condone to the same BS with terrible goalies glitch goals how about you actually watch peoples game play and see how people are playing your game you have thousands of people that pay 90 to 70 dollars for the same game but wait it’s way worse….do better how about you have some of your staff actually watch a hockey gameNHL 26 Feedback
Every timeespeciallyin the finals it bugs and have to reset the game i also find one day sorry not even couple games ur loadout works great nest game nothing the same how in hell did u guys manage to mess up the game even more ?????? It seems like u guys are making it worse every year oh and people could tale any colors of clothes so u dont even know whos ur teammates sometimes this is horrible this is my one and only game i love to play and u guys are killing it wtf!!!!! Is wrong yall it dosent stop glitcibg ive must of send 10 and more reports just today and also if u.press L1 or R1 to fast to change between play loadouts store stats etc.. it freezesand it either i gotta turn off the game or it tell ne error and send a report this is by far the worse u guys did hiw can soccer nfl run clean and hockey is this weak ????? Hi , not sure what happened yesterday while I was playing on my hut team at a friend's home but when I came back home... I've ask for a verification code from Ea. I have 2fa set up on my account and have access to the email they are saying the code to be sent but haven't received it. When im logging on ea website account management , im getting the code on my phone and its working pretty well... why do I cant chose this option when asked in NHL26 ?? Cant get in touch with ea support anywhere ... not sure what I can do but dissociate my PSN and associate it again but Im pretty sure I'll lose everything right ?Can't play the game after 15 hours in
Bought the $100 version to get the 7 day early access. Have been playing all week and randomly just started getting a bunch of errors preventing me from playing. Error - There was an error downloading assets. Please try again later Failed to refresh World of Chel game modes Etc. Can't imagine paying an extra $30 for 7 days early access and only getting half of those days. Begging for a fix.
