Mac EA app - "Something went wrong" - Error EC:106 on EA app for Mac
I'm having the same issue. I just contacted EA and they're saying this has been happening to several people and that they're looking into it. So I think for now we just have to wait unfortunately. Wish I had my Sims 4 game on a flash drive or a CD right now.. Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!28KViews8likes217CommentsError 500

I'm playing on a Mac, and I was recently forced to switch over from Origin. Now, the first time I launch the EA app each day, my Mac gives me a message that the EA app "wants to make changes" to my computer and it requires me to submit my admin password. At first, I had "application updates" turned off, so I thought maybe this was the problem (even though it's supposed to prevent updates), so I turned it on. Makes no difference. I have to put in my password as though the application is updating every single time I launch the app for the first time that day. It does not ask for my password if I launch the app again later on the same day. Is this normal? Is there any way to work around it? Hi, it's been a week since I can't open my EA app. I read lots of similar posts but nothing worked. I play on a macbook pro which is up to date, but I keep getting this error message after typing in my mac user password. I know there are many people encountering this problem, was there any information about an update of the app ?Solved88Views0likes3CommentsEA app Can't Connect to Servers
I get a problem saying "Couldn't connect to servers" followed by "We ran into a problem, but a quick restart should fix it.". I have tried numerous things, including clearing the EA app's cache files with the app recovery program and even resetting my internet modem. Do you have any other solutions guys, if so please share, thanks. Hi everyone, This thread has been created to gather data from players who report the absence of previously owned or recently bought Games/DLCs in their EA app Library starting from January/February 2024 (or before). If you are experiencing this issue, please ensure the following: Verify that you are logging into the EA app with the correct EA account - the one that contains your games. After manually checking some of your reports (which we don't typically do via forums), we've noticed several instances of players reporting this problem with empty EA accounts. As such, please respond to this thread using your primary EA account (the one you believe your games are registered to). Check your Order History - Try to locate your games, if purchased through our EA.com website or the EA app (formerly Origin), on your Order History page (access it here). If you sign into your EA account on the Order History page, apply filters for All Status and All Timeframes, and still see nothing, you may be using the incorrect EA account. Do or did you have EA Play? - If you had EA Play and claimed games that are now missing or returning a "You don't have access" error, ensure that your EA Play subscription is active. Note that this error can also occur in the EA app if you are attempting to launch an EA game via Steam or Epic while logged into the EA app with the incorrect account (one not linked to your Steam or Epic persona). If you've checked all of the above and still can't see your EA games in the EA app, consider performing an EA app Recovery (clear cache) to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, please reply to this thread with the following information: Your EA ID/Username, The names of the missing games (please just name a handful), The date when this issue first started, Your current EA app version (find out here), Your EA app Error Reporter ID (provide it in this thread). Thank you for your cooperation.17KViews2likes269CommentsUnable to launch BF1 after being forced from Origin Launcher

Try again later". How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try to launch the game on this new horrible app that I was forced into using. My game worked perfect yesterday. What happens when the bug occurs? "An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again later" Message appears What do you expect to see? I expect to have a game that I payed $60 for to work when I try to launch it. You guys messed it up by forcing us into this new EA App that doesn't even work. You take our hard earned money that we spent on a game, and flush it down the drain. I will NEVER buy another game through EA ever again. Especially with this new app that basically doesn't work.620Views0likes6Commentsea wont let me sign in because IP address has changed?
