Will The Sims: Legacy Collection be released for Mac?
I saw that EA recently made it available for Windows users, however I was wondering if there are any plans to release it for macOS as well? Since modern Macs (especially those with Apple Silicon chips) can't run the old Mac CD version anymore, many Mac users have no official way to experience the original game. Is there any chance EA could bring The Sims: Legacy Collection to Mac?
Running Sims 1 Re-Release on Parallels
Hey everyone! I've got a paid version of Parallels for macOS I use to emulate Windows 11. The recently re-released Sims 2 collection boots just fine, but The Sims 1 provides the error message "The game was unable to find a suitable Vulkan device on this machine." I'm posting this because I feel like the emulation is part of the problem. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how did you get around it? For reference, here are my laptop's specs: 16-inch Nov 2024 MacBook Pro Chip: Apple M4 Max Memory: 48 GB macOS: Sequoia 15.3.1
