[PC] Mass Effect Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode
Commander, you’ve received a new message at your private terminal! When logging into Mass Effect 3 or Mass Effect Andromeda multiplayer. Players may run into one of the following errors: Mass Effect 3 - "An online pass is required to access the online features of the game." Mass Effect Andromeda - "Missing Online Access" Changes to the EA account cause these specific errors. These can include, but are not limited to, the following: EA Play subscription expired - This is the main reason in most cases Account Mergers A separate account downloaded the DLC, and the game does not recognize that your EA account owns the content. If you encounter this error when launching the game or multiplayer mode, first try the following steps to see if they resolve the error(s). Delete EA License Files: Make sure the EA app is closed. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER Delete all files within this folder. Clear Windows temp files: Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER" Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it. (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.) If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you will need to contact our Support Team, who will review your EA account and make any necessary changes with you. Are you running into an error that matches the following: "Unable to authorize the listed DLC"? Below are the steps to help resolve this error when launching both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Checking your account First things first. Make sure you are logged into the correct account. With older titles, we may often end up with multiple EA accounts without realizing it. Use the following steps to verify you are in the correct account. Head on over to EA.com and log in with your EA credentials. Under the About Me section, make sure you see a Mass Effect ID. If you play on Epic/Steam/Switch, check the Connections tab at the bottom of the page to verify the accounts are linked. Click on Order History, change the drop-down to match All, and scroll through the content, as there should be logs here with each DLC name. Mass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
Hey, can't seem to get multiplayer to work, I'm using the EA app on PC. I see all these threads about the online pass and I've tried to follow the advice in them but I'm having no luck. Controller Not Working - Mass Effect Legendary Edition Steam
System: PC Windows 10 Purchased on Steam Latest EA App Version 13.482.0.5995 I recently reinstalled Legendary Edition to replay the trilogy and no matter what I try I cannot get my controller to connect (I have PS5 and a generic xbox controller). I remember playing with controller just fine back in 2021 and the best I can find online is that this seems to be an ongoing issue with the EA App itself. I bought the game on steam, I have adjusted every possible controller setting on there. I have tried adding EADesktop as a non-steam game, and that does show the controller in the Legendary menu, but once I boot up ME1 it no longer shows any controller options. If anyone has any other work arounds to try that would be great!
ME3 multiplayer randomly crashes
I bought ME3 a few months ago for the multiplayer. It's been a lot of fun - a very well-made game. However, I have an issue where the game randomly crashes with no warning. I'm playing on an Asus laptop I bought last fall - it's basically brand new. I know many other people have this issue as well, as I found a Reddit thread about it (https://www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/18ysl2s/me3_mp_crashing/). I've tried the fixes some people have posted there, but to no avail. When I host, it seems to crash very commonly in the first 60 seconds or so of wave 3. Having people in the game who are physically far away (i.e. in Europe) seems to increase the likelihood. The crashes seem to come in clusters. Some sessions I can play 5+ games with no issue, while other sessions I crash virtually every game. Does anyone know how to solve this?
