These can include, but are not limited to, the following: EA Play subscription expired - This is the main reason in most cases Account Mergers A separate account downloaded the DLC, and the game does not recognize that your EA account owns the content. Commander, you've received a new message at your private terminal! Ready to jump back in the game and save the galaxy? Are you running into an error that matches the following: "Unable to authorize the listed DLC"? Below are the steps to help resolve this error when launching both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Checking your account First things first. Make sure you are logged into the correct account. With older titles, we may often end up with multiple EA accounts without realizing it. Use the following steps to verify you are in the correct account. Head on over to EA.com and log in with your EA credentials. Under the About Me section, make sure you see a Mass Effect ID. If you play on Epic/Steam/Switch, check the Connections tab at the bottom of the page to verify the accounts are linked. Click on Order History, change the drop-down to match All, and scroll through the content, as there should be logs here with each DLC name. Note: If the EA account previously had an EA Play subscription, once the subscription ends, you will lose access to any additional content the subscription provides. You can read more about what content is included in the Learn about EA Play article. Once you verify you are in the correct account, perform the following steps below as these should help reinstall the DLC content and resolve these errors. Troubleshooting Steps Locate the following folder on their PC Default Path: C:\Program Files\EA Games. This path may vary depending on where the player installs the game. Hey, can't seem to get multiplayer to work, I'm using the EA app on PC. I see all these threads about the online pass and I've tried to follow the advice in them but I'm having no luck. Not sure if it's something on my end or not. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. System: PC Windows 10 Purchased on Steam Latest EA App Version 13.482.0.5995 I recently reinstalled Legendary Edition to replay the trilogy and no matter what I try I cannot get my controller to connect (I have PS5 and a generic xbox controller). I remember playing with controller just fine back in 2021 and the best I can find online is that this seems to be an ongoing issue with the EA App itself. I bought the game on steam, I have adjusted every possible controller setting on there. I have tried adding EADesktop as a non-steam game, and that does show the controller in the Legendary menu, but once I boot up ME1 it no longer shows any controller options. If anyone has any other work arounds to try that would be great!898Views0likes3CommentsWe could not activate Mass Effect 3 on this computer
A couple of nights ago, I tried to play Mass Effect 3, and the EA app opened a window that said We could not activate Mass Effect 3 on this computer using the origin account you provided. please locate your product key to activate the game using your origin account. !? I have owned this game for many years. I contacted EA and the person couldn't fix the issue. I got a really stupid idea that if I bought it on Steam, I could play it. Well, no. same message. I contacted EA again and because my original copy disappeared my from my library replaced my a steam copy, I could no longer prove I owned the game and I was refused help and basically called a liar when i said I owned it. Sure, there was no purchase history for the game but my son bought me the trilogy as a gift many years ago. Ok, fine. I bought another copy from EA, thinking this would solve the problem, but no. The copy i had just bought is not in my library and so, still no product key and no solution. I was directed to come here and post as many details as I could to try to resolve this since I will never get to play ME3 ever again if i can't get this mess fixed. someone, please help me with this.Solved833Views0likes9CommentsME3 multiplayer randomly crashes
I bought ME3 a few months ago for the multiplayer. It's been a lot of fun - a very well-made game. However, I have an issue where the game randomly crashes with no warning. Here is a 15-second YouTube video showing how it goes down. https://youtu.be/db0zWS2X-54 I didn't post that video, but it is identical to the crashes I routinely get. I'm playing on an Asus laptop I bought last fall - it's basically brand new. I know many other people have this issue as well, as I found a Reddit thread about it (https://www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/18ysl2s/me3_mp_crashing/). I've tried the fixes some people have posted there, but to no avail. Here are a couple of crash dump files if anyone knows how to analyze them: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/fotur4rb10by3t2ujfbpp/MassEffect3.exe.17372.dmp?rlkey=xf3i966vc167ydbe6v8y2usbf&st=97f9zcyj&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/3rpco2rejrvuf8y2e8wz5/MassEffect3.exe.20244.dmp?rlkey=2b64ahihuhkfaby348ove0qc5&st=opnf3xfb&dl=0 A few things I have noticed about my own experiences with this issue: Drone escort waves seem to dramatically increase the likelihood of a crash. When I host, it seems to crash very commonly in the first 60 seconds or so of wave 3. Having people in the game who are physically far away (i.e. in Europe) seems to increase the likelihood. The crashes seem to come in clusters. Some sessions I can play 5+ games with no issue, while other sessions I crash virtually every game. Does anyone know how to solve this?700Views2likes28CommentsCan't log in to ME3 N7 HQ Site
Is anyone else having a problem logging in to the N7 HQ? After I enter my password, it just takes me to the home screen and it doesn't show me as logged in. I tried different browsers (Firefox and Edge) and I get the same result. I can sort of access my profile if I enter it manually in "Find Profile" and choose PC/Origin, but it still shows me as logged out. I can see the leader board, but I can't access the Galaxy at War page.Solved602Views5likes34CommentsUnable To Load Data on N7 HQ Page
Is anyone else having problems accessing the N7 HQ page? In Firefox I get "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable". In Edge I get: "Hmmm… can't reach this page The connection was reset." If I wait long enough, it does eventually let me log in, but it is otherwise really, really, slow. Thanks.Solved515Views2likes22Comments
