High School Graduation
Recently have gotten back into playing Sims 3. I have played multiple saves and multiple families. And every family with teens, I've had issues with graduating from high school. I've played with and without mods. Regardless of what I try I cant get graduation to pop up. I know it happens after the teen ages up and usually happens on the weekend. I've tried googling for help but have had no success. Is it a lost cause or is there something that will fix it. Everything else that happens at city hall seems to work fine. I just don't wanna keep having my teens not graduate. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance. Let me know if you need more info. Sorry if this problem is posted already.
Is my save corrupted? What do I do??
I was playing this save earlier in the morning and it was fine. Played it again in the evening and this happened. I have two active sims in this household. One has disappeared, the other one stuck asleep. Things are still happening in game (they got invited to a party etc) and I can interact with objects. I've tried resetting the game, resetting the sim, teleporting the sim to a location, and none has worked. I don't have mods or cc in my game and I'm running it in a pretty good gaming laptop.
Sims 3 will not open
Hello! I am very frustrated and have searched a lot for solutions for all of these problems and nothing will work. First, my launcher would crash every time I clicked on the download tab so I couldn't download anythig from the store (I don't use CC so I know it's not a problem with corrupted cc files or anything.) I then researched how to fix this and found in a thread on here that if you are signed in to your EA account, you can download everything on the home page in the sims game, where you choose a save to play. Then, my problem became that I would log into my account on the launcher and the info wouldn't show up, would just show a blank blue box even though the launcher acted as if it had accepted my login info. So I tried logging in on the actual game and got stuck in the "connecting" screen until I eventually had to force quit the game. I then researched how to fix this and it said to delete all sims 3 files in keychain access, so I did. It said you could log in on the main menu in the game, not on the launcher, so I clicked play in the launcher to try and do this. Now, when I click the play button in the launcher, it immediately crashes and my game will not open at all. I am so frustrated and I have no clue what to do. Everytime I thought I fixed the problem, another problem would arise. I play on MacBook using the 64 bit sims 3 and I'm on the macOS Tahoe Version 26.1, which I just updated to cause sometimes sims 3 doesn't work on my computer if I need a software update. I have repaired the game via the EA app, I have taken out the sims 3 folder from my computer documents and relaunched the game (multiple times actually, before my game stopped launching) to see if a new file would fix the issue. I really just want to play the game, as I've been playing it for over 10 years and I enjoy it far more than Sims 4.
Unable to Download Sims 3 Roaring Heights
Today, I purchased the Sims 3 Roaring Heights through the EA App. However, I have been unable to install it. I see it as an option on Manage add-ons with the word "New" next to the title in green, and underneath it says "In-game content". However, all other add-ons have "Installed" underneath. The download button for this new add-on is nowhere to be found. I have uninstalled the Sims 3 multiple times in the hopes to fix it, and have followed several along to chats that had a slightly different issue with no luck. I went into the Sims 3 to see if it was something I needed to do within the game, but was redirected to the EA app when I tried. I also don't use cc or mods. Can someone please assist me with this? I have been trying to fix this for hours and I am at my wits end. 😥 Attaching what I see below for reference.
Limited content included in a standard pack?
I recently bought Pets from ea app, and the pet store, which is the exclusive content from the limited edition, showed up in my purchase history on sims 3 store. My question is, if i buy other packs like Island Paradise, University life..., from ea app, will their exclusive content also show up?
Sims 3 Does nothing on EA App when I select play
Selecting play will bring up "thinking" launching window and reduce EA App window but then nothing happens (not even Sims 3 Launcher) and I can select play again. The game will not launch from bin either I have repaired the game several times. There are no mods installed. This is a fresh installation
