Sims 3 Never works
Hello, I have a Mac Book Pro 2020, 1.7 GHz Quad-Core intel core i7, intel iris plus graphics 645 1536 MB, 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 i have uninstalled and re-installed, I have repaired 100s of times. I have deleted the files told to on multiple forums, I have updated my computer, restarted, changed all the graphics to low, tried it on stream. NOTHING WORKS. this is my favorite game and I have looked everywhere. Can someone please please help me. ***I do not use mods ***
sims 3 crashes after few minutes since the update 2025
Hi, my game randomly crashes when i play a few minutes. It really bugs me, because i played a week before the update came and everything was fine. But since then, it became unplayable for me. I have no cc or mods in game and i play over the ea app. I am really out of ideas of what to do. I repaired the game twice and cleared my cache but nothing works... :(
Sims 3 64 bit not showing in Library on EA App
After origin was discontinued and i was forced to download EA app to access my games i noticed the Sims 3 64 bit version was not in my library. After speaking with an EA agent they said they had added it onto my library but i could still not see it. After 3 hours and 4 agents i tried everything from safe reboot, reinstalling the app, clearing my cache and writing a code through my mac terminal. Every single ticket or case i raised was marked as 'fixed' despite the issue not being resolved. I have been trying to contact EA Help via twitter (X) for months and have been given 0 response. I was told by one agent to keep an eye on socials. The sims 3 is an old game i dont think EA will be updating this issue on socials when the churn out a £35 dlc for the sims 4 every month. I am now left with a game i cannot access, 0 help from EA and no further way to access live chat as after clicking start chat it says ' 0 agents available' . How are EA allowing this ? very dissapointed. Can anyone help me with this please. I have a mac book pro 2019, Intel core i5 and ventura 13.6.6...
Can't log in to my account in launcher or game but can on the Sims 3 Store
As the title says, I can't log in. I have already tried resetting my password to something without special characters, clearing Microsoft Edge's data, and also trying to delete the email.bin file but I didn't have one. None of these worked. I even tried making a new folder for the game by renaming my old one. That also didn't work, so when I tried the original folder again by fixing the name, I got the "A serious error has occurred while loading [world name]. It is strongly recommended that you restart the application." message. Then, I deleted the old folder entirely bc I don't play with mods and I was planning on deleting my only save anyway. This made it so I can't log into the game launcher either to download my Sims 3 Store content.Unable to Save a Game Since 2025 Update
Ever since installing the update last month, I have been unable to successfully play Sims 3 because I simply can't save a game. I'm getting Error Code 16, which I understand to mean that my save file is exceeding 4GB, however, I only currently have 5 households saved and never had this problem prior to the update. I have checked that I have plenty of free storage on my C drive and plenty of storage space in OneDrive where all my files are back up. I've tried pausing my OneDrive syncing. I've deleted all saves in-game and deleted my Saves folder. I've tried saving my household under a different name. Following a live chat session with EA support, these are all the things that were covered during our discussions. In the end, I was told that there was nothing more they could do and that I should throw myself at the mercy of the forums. I'm afraid I expected more, but it is what it is so here I am. 🤷♀️
sims 3 crashing as soon as I load up a household.
Since I got my new pc I've had issues with the sims crashing and application not responding. I've got an i7-14700 and Nvidia geforce rtx 4060 on windows 10. the launcher opens and I can select a world but the second I load into a household on a fresh save, the game usually crashes after 2 minutes in live mode, same with build/buy. I've tried my game both with and without mods but neither seem to make a difference. I've also tried the smooth patch from LD but that doesn't help much either. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Sims 3 no longer launch.
Hello, When I launch sims 3 via the launcher, a black page appears, as well as the white frame of a window before simply crashing the game. My game worked fine before the recent update, but now I can't even launch it... I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I've fixed it, nothing works, I even went into Options.ini to change the fullscreen part to 0 instead of 1 to see if that wasn't the problem, but nope. What can I do?
