Give PC Players The Ability To Disable Crossplay
I am pretty irritated that Dice isnt forcing console players to play with pc if they dont want to. But they are forcing pc to play with console even if we dont want to. What is with the catering to consoles but not your original fan base on pc. You guys have given too much ASsistance to console players trying to balance controller and quite honestly im fed up with it. We dont care that they cant match our precision its not our fault that controller cant reproduce precision. Giving them less recoil bullet magnetism aim assist all stacked on top of each other is doing too much. Getting really tired of dying to a controller player while head camping bc ofthe combination of all these things together just gives them an advantage that as a pc player I just cant engage them in certain scanarios and win they have too much assistance going on under the hood. They just hold down the trigger on any gun and get If you want to give them that much of a handicap fine but give pc players the ability to turn off crossplay. It should never be forced on anyone period if they dont want it on. Makes no sense why you give console the option but not pc. I want to be able to have the option of just playing with pc players.12KViews143likes298CommentsDisappointed by Battlefield 6’s Lack of Linux Support
To whom it may concern, I was genuinely excited about Battlefield 6. The trailers, the gameplay previews—all of it looked amazing. But that excitement was instantly deflated when I realized there’s no support for Linux at all! I’m running Ubuntu LTS and have absolutely no interest in switching back to Windows just to play EA games. It’s frustrating, to say the least, that in 2025 we’re still dealing with such narrow platform support. Linux users are no longer a fringe group—we’re passionate, loyal, and growing. Ignoring us feels like a slap in the face. I won’t be buying Battlefield 6 unless Linux support is taken seriously. Simple as that. Please rethink this decision—not just for me, but for the entire Linux community. Regards, A very disappointed gamer17KViews127likes120CommentsChange Minimap to top Left
Can you consider having the option for players to move the Minimap Location to the top Left, Top Right, Bottom Right etc.... Having it in the bottom left just feels weird to me. Even if you are unable to do so allow us the option to Turn it Off because I feel its obstructing my screen on PC18KViews113likes49CommentsKorean voice dubbing feedback
Dear Battlefield Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to share a suggestion regarding the upcoming release of Battlefield 6, which I’m very excited about. As a long-time fan of the Battlefield series, I’ve enjoyed every installment, and I’m especially thrilled that this new title includes Korean voice dubbing. While I truly appreciate the addition of Korean audio, I personally prefer playing with English voiceovers while keeping the text and UI in Korean. This has been my preferred setup in previous titles, and I’d love to continue that experience with Battlefield 6. However, the current system appears to link audio and text language settings, making it impossible to separate them. If there is a way to set the audio to English while maintaining Korean for subtitles and UI, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. If such an option is not currently available, I sincerely hope it can be considered for a future update. I believe many players would benefit from having the flexibility to customize their language settings according to their preferences. Thank you for your continued dedication to creating incredible gaming experiences. I’m grateful for all the hard work your team puts into development and updates, and I look forward to enjoying Battlefield 6. Thanx CM title edit854Views111likes9CommentsBring bots back to portal
Someone decided it was a good idea to remove bots from the portal verified modes :-( please remove to reduce the XP. As a guy who does not play BF6 all day, everyday, I don't get much fun from playing online against these hardcore players. Neither do my friends :-( we would love to see bots be put back! there are also non hardcore player ;-) don't forget us please!4.7KViews103likes115CommentsI don't want to play RedSec for Battlepass
I tried it. Some people may like it some may dislike it, but I don't like battleroyals and I don't want to do these assignments/challenges to unlock Battlepass which I bought with real money. I just want to play BF6 and that's it. Just remove the assignments and use XP system. Plain and simple, gain XP and unlock rewards in the Battlepass. If I wanted to play battleroyale there are plenty of options. I Just Want To Play Battlefield 6.2.3KViews87likes49Comments[UPDATE] Battlefield 6 Update: On Secure Boot & Cheats
Hey folks, AC from the SPEAR Anti-Cheat Team here, hope everyone's having fun in the Battlefield 6 Open Beta! I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge some of the feedback around cheating in the game, especially around Secure Boot. On Secure Boot, I want to be clear that Secure Boot is not, and was not intended to be a silver bullet. Secure Boot is how you're helping us build up our arsenal. It’s another barrier that helps us make it harder for cheat developers to create cheat programs, and makes it easier for us to detect it when they do. There are certain signals that we can only trust when Secure Boot is enabled, which we spoke of before in our previous posts, like here https://steamcommunity.com/app/2807960/discussions/0/600785827026563959/. One example, Secure Boot prevents your machine from running with vulnerable drivers enabled. So if Secure Boot is running and we see those drivers loaded, we know something's a bit off. I also wanted to thank you all for taking the time to report cheaters, cheat programs and specific clips to us. Your reports help us zero in and lead us to finding up and coming cheat communities, reporting one actual cheater often can lead to new detection techniques and help us keep them from impacting your experience. Since Open Beta Early Access’s launch: Javelin has prevented 330,000 attempts to cheat or tamper with anti-cheat controls. You’ve reported 44,000 instances of potential cheaters during day one and another 60,000 so far today. We are already using these with our own Gameplay Integrity team to add and improve our detections for Battlefield 6. They are also working with the Battlefield Positive Play team, to actively remove those reported we confirm to be cheaters. Anti-Cheat isn't one and done, it's an ever evolving battlefield, and what has worked for us previously or in different games doesn't always work in all of them. I hope this helps, and please keep the reports coming in - we'll continue cleaning up the cheaters so you can have a fair game. We’re looking forward to the Open Beta tomorrow, and if you need to, the best way to help combat cheaters in Battlefield 6 is by reporting them via their profiles on the score screen. See you on the Battlefield! - AC46KViews76likes333CommentsPortal Server Visibility/Matchmaking Issue (low player count regions)
Edit: Matchmaking (via the multiplayer tab) is currently horrendous in low player count regions. Players are scattered across different games/disbanded after a game ends. This often results in players being thrown into empty lobbies which are populated mostly by bots. This is especially an issue in regions that have a relatively low number of players. Portal is NOT a good alternative because the Portal servers have a much lower tickrate (30 Hz). Also, not all servers hosted on Portal are visible on the Portal server browser, and understandably so, because the browser would otherwise be cluttered. The problem is that players on South African servers struggle to find portal games because there is no option to select Africa as a search region. Please fix the portal visibility issue and the matchmaking. Edit 2: There are enough players in the low player count regions for full games. It's just that the current matchmaking algorithm is unnecessarily splitting those players into multiple games Dice plzzzSolved3.8KViews71likes101Commentsbattlefield 6 - worst battlefield of all time
Battlefield 6 – The Worst Battlefield Yet Last night was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in a video game. The hype around this game is insane, but what we got isn’t Battlefield — it’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 with vehicles tossed in to fake that “Battlefield experience.” Nothing feels right. Sniping? A joke. Shots to the shoulder, neck, even upper chest don’t one-shot. The core of the sniper class is gone. SMGs? Pea shooters. At five metres, it should take 4–5 bullets. Instead, it’s 9–10. TTK is all over the place — slow when it shouldn’t be, random when it matters. Weapons in general feel weak, inconsistent, and have zero impact. Reviewers everywhere are saying the same thing — unbalanced, floaty gunplay, and awful hit detection. Vehicles? Utter garbage. They feel weightless and fragile — like cardboard boxes on wheels. Tanks die in seconds to infantry spam, and driving feels awkward, clunky, and nothing like the power of Battlefield 4 or 1. Even the vehicle HUD is a mess — cluttered, unclear, and constantly in your face. HUD and UI? Horrendous. Screen clutter everywhere, icons blocking your view, and terrible feedback when you’re hit. It’s like they tried to make it “modern” and forgot it needs to be usable. Maps? Tiny. Even Conquest feels cramped. You can’t snipe, you can’t flank, and you can’t breathe. Battlefield used to be about scale — now it’s just arcade chaos. Overall feel? Empty. Soulless. It doesn’t even feel like a Battlefield game anymore. Verdict: A confused, watered-down mess trying to be everything and ending up nothing. The worst Battlefield experience to date. Not much of a discussion I would just like to share my thoughts on my experiences so far and see if anyone else is experiencing similar themes as I am.4.9KViews64likes75Comments
