Breakthrough Returns to Main Menu After Match Found
There is a serious issue with breakthrough on PS5, Xbox and PC. I and others have been unable to connect to a game of breakthrough (offical server) on the main menu. It finds a game, counts down, fades to black and then eventually returns you to the main menu. For me all other game modes work without issue, but others have reported the same bug with conquest. There are two other posts on this forum with the same issue and a post on Reddit where others are stating they're experiencing the same issue as well. I've tested and confirmed the issue on my PS5 (local install & streaming) and Xbox Series X consoles, both with two different accounts and tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Please can this be looked in to as a matter of urgency. (I literally only play breakthrough) (cm edit updated title for vis)NATO Gridlock skin has wrong colours
I've noticed the gridlock skin now has the wrong colours? For assault/engineer it's now much brighter and less dark, and for recon it's completely different. What's going on? Why was this changed? This must be a bug because this can't have been an intentional change. Change it back!0Views0likes0CommentsLock-On Missiles Ignore Flares
There is currently a major issue with lock-on missiles ignoring flares. Right now, it feels like there is roughly a 30% chance for any lock-on missile, no matter if it’s from a MANAD, MAA, jet etc. to completely ignore countermeasures and continue tracking through flares. This happens across multiple lock-on weapons, but the IGLA is by far the worst offender. The problem is that flare timing does not seem to matter at all: - Flaring instantly after launch - Flaring midway through tracking - Flaring right before impact If the missile decides to ignore flares, it simply continues tracking no matter what. The IGLA in particular feels extremely inconsistent and borderline broken right now. Honestly, it feels like it ignores flares around 70% of the time. This became even more noticeable after the recent velocity buff to the IGLA: - Missiles arrive much faster - Pilots have less reaction time - And the flare inconsistency feels even worse now At the moment, using flares often feels random instead of skill-based. Sometimes they work correctly, sometimes they do absolutely nothing. That creates situations where pilots die despite using countermeasures properly. To be clear, this is NOT a complaint about lock-ons being strong. MANPADS should absolutely be effective area denial tools and should force helicopters/jets to disengage or flare. The issue is that countermeasures themselves currently feel unreliable and bugged. If a pilot uses flares correctly, the missile should consistently lose tracking. Please investigate: - Lock-ons ignoring flares - IGLA tracking behavior specifically - General flare reliability and desync issues Additionally, I would really like to see ECM return as a loadout option similar to Battlefield 4. Having both: - traditional flares - and an ECM jammer option would add more depth and counterplay to air vehicle gameplay while helping reduce the frustration caused by inconsistent missile tracking. Now that Season 3 has been released we want to hear from you. How does Railway to Golmud feel to play? Do you feel like the map is the right size? Too big? Or not big enough? With Season 3 vehicles were given a big overhaul. How do they feel to play now? Is there more versatility for ground vehicles? Does the Little Bird still feel dominant? Automatic weapon recoil was adjusted with Season 3, how is this feeling? This thread is primarily for feedback and discussion about the new Season. If you are having an in game issue please check to see if a thread has already been made and if not please make a thread reporting the issue.1.4KViews17likes136Comments[GF] Actor: Hair not getting done

TLDR: I live in Maryland USA but Battlefield 6 keeps routing me to the Santiago Chile data center every time I launch the game. It causes constant connection issues and high ping. I have done every possible local fix. This looks like an EA backend tenancy issue that needs a reset. I’m hoping to find out if anyone else is running into this same issue or if EA staff can take a look. I’m located in Maryland USA and my IP geolocation is confirmed by multiple lookup sites. However, every time I launch Battlefield 6 on PC (Steam plus EA App), my in-game tenancy shows: PROD_DEFAULT-SANTIAGO-COMMON That’s the Chile data center, roughly 4000 miles away from me. As a result, every server I join has high latency, constant orange connection icons, and severe desync, making the game nearly unplayable. I can’t join my US friends without connection problems. Here’s what I’ve already done (none of this fixed it): Confirmed my EA Account regional settings are set to United States Cleared all EA App caches (ProgramData, AppData, LocalAppData) Deleted and rebuilt all Battlefield 6 settings files Flushed DNS, Winsock, and IP stack Set DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 Verified game files in Steam Switched between automatic and manual IP assignment Tested multiple VPN endpoints (New York, Virginia, Chicago) Confirmed my public IP geolocates to Maryland on multiple services Even after all that, the game still forces me to the Santiago tenancy every login What I’ve concluded: This appears to be an EA backend issue where my account’s tenancy token is stuck on the wrong data center. Other users have reported similar problems in previous Battlefield titles when their accounts were cached to the wrong region. My account region and network are fine. It seems to be a stale entry in EA’s matchmaking or tenancy database that needs a server-ops reset. What I’ve tried with EA Support: Submitted two tickets (they don’t show up in My Cases) No visible confirmation or escalation yet What I’m hoping for: To find out if anyone else is also being routed to Santiago or another far-away data center despite being in the US Maybe get visibility from an EA community manager or support agent who can flag this for a tenancy reset on my account If you’re having this issue too, please reply with your location, platform, and what data center your game shows (bottom-right corner of the main menu). It will help demonstrate that this is a wider backend bug, not just a local problem.Solved40KViews171likes507CommentsUnable to Run BF1
