Random father-daughter rivalry
In the new royalty pack, I made a royal family: mum, dad, son, daughter. They all get along, happy little family. Mum and dad are level 5, son is level 4 and daughter is level 3 in the nobility career. All of a sudden, for no reason at all that I can think of, daddy dear declares his own lovely daughter as his rival! Now they both can't move up in their careers. I don't want either of them to leave the career. For some reason, I cant get them to duel about it, and I don't understand the other options to solving their rivalry in this case. I'm also obviously not gonna get them to murder each other. I can't imagine anyone getting any better after that. (Also, mummy dear is pregnant of a third, have some compassion!) Why is this rivalry thing so random? Shouldn't it have a reason? A cause? Can this be improved? Or am I missing some obvious solution?
Scenario Parenting Predicaments
I recently started the scenario along with High School years. When Leonardo and Sofia aged up to teen, she was able to graduate early but Leonardo who studied everyday, got all A with the notification of valedictorian, hasn't been able to graduate early or even got the notification of the graduation ceremony like I have attended in the past. I don't use CC, mods or cheats.How to move a sim to a different household?
Hello! I am not a smart man. I made a household with one Sim that was supposed to be a lone adult, but I decided to make him a family and put them across town in Willow's Creek. He has a mother and a brother and I have no idea how to fix family relationships to make him related to them, so they're just two separate households. I also want to know how to transfer the brother over to my main household, or if it is possible, is it possible to shift between two households and move his brother back and forth. Is it also somehow possible to control a random sim from a different household, cause I want them to level up with the same skill and go on adventures together and then drop him off at his mother's house, cause both of them are unemployed losers and the joke is that the brother is older than my main sim and neither of them will ever accomplish anything, but I don't want the brother to stay in the main household cause he's a background character in his story. I wanna pick him up and drop him off in another household after every adventure to places like the Jungle Adventure pack. CC is acceptable as an answer too! My sims will only use one computer in the house even though I have like three of them. I've checked to see if its accessible and it is, they just wont use the other computers. Everytime I choose the computer that I want them to use, they go to the other one and that really complicates things because I will have two sims that needs to use the computer at the same time and they cant because they are all drawn to that one computer even though I have multiple and choose the one that i want them to use.Trying for baby glitch
I don't know if it's a glitch or whatever but whenever I try to have my sims try for baby it would have a notification pop up saying it's their first time despite it's not and then they would randomly stand up and freeze for a couple of seconds before walking away. And when I pressed the toilet for a pregnancy test the option to test wouldn't show up.No goals during events
I started the Family Fortune scenario and one of the scenario tasks is to Throw a Dinner Party. I made sure to check the box enabling goals before setting it up, but there are still no goals once the event starts. Not sure if it's related, but the last holiday my household should have celebrated didn't have a visible holiday UI, so holiday activities/traditions weren't visible either. After the holiday hours had passed, there weren't any post-holiday individual sim recap notifications like usual, either. I had aging on and set to normal lifespan in my save before starting the scenario, so the twins’ birthdays happened before I could complete the child aspirations. They then force aged up to teens and now the aspirations are different and I’ve been kind of stuck. Any ideas how I can finish the scenario?Connections Reward Trait disables promoting correctly
When you buy the connections reward trait for your sim, therefore, starting a career at level 4, when you get promoted for the first time, it says you are at level 5 for the career; however, it has you choose a branch of the career (which normally happens around level 7 of careers). Furthermore, when you promote again, you just get a raise and do not raise level in the career. In this example, instead of being promoted to project manager (level 5 tech guru), Nova was forced to choose a branch of tech guru. I chose Start up Entrepreneur. The next time her performance bar maxed, she did not promote, staying at level 5 of the career and then earning a raise. Subsequently, each time she "promotes" her level 5 career adds four levels. In the last screen shot she has gotten a raise twice, so it says she's Next Big Thing +8 (because it always does multiples of 4). I have no custom content. I have 39 DLCs, mostly kits and stuff packs, and several expansions. I noticed this bug after the July 1 base game update. The example screenshots are from a scenario, but it doesn't matter whether you are playing a scenario or not; connections always messes up the promoting mechanic. I've tried with several careers, and each time the sim promotes from level 4 to 5, the sim is forced to choose a branch of the career and then never gets to level 6 and instead just receives raises.
