Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X

Those were the days. 🥰 Facebook just reminded me of this sim. Hyacint Hornswoggle. I remember how enamoured I was with her and the little cottage I built for her in Brindleton Bay. She was a gardener, back when Seasons just had been released seven years ago, and before EA messed up all the gardening in the game. I still find her adorable. Do you have any sims you feel particularly nostalgic about?

Do you ever capture pictures from fun or awkward situations in your game? Often my sims will make me smile just because they did position weirdly, making a totally normal situation look funny. - Hello again, Hairdresser, I got a complaint! Your solution turned out to be unpractical. Are you sure I can't have a ponytail, without the horse?

Q&A: Adventure Awaits
#AD (just in case this counts as social media) I can tell you ahead of time this time... I was invited to join the CFE (not final build) opportunity for The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits. Thank you to the EA Creator Network for this chance to answer questions for you about the pack! I will be taking and answering mainly questions about gameplay - Skills/Traits/Aspirations/Career/Venues/Systems/Lore - and anything else you guys want to know about! I will be testing with ALL PACKS in as I believe this is yet another pack with endless cross-compatibility possibilities. (Please Note: Testing with other packs in is unsupported before regular Early Access, so may be extra buggy.) I'm not a fast builder so will likely be testing things on a save full of downloaded Gallery lots. If you have any lots you want me to test flow for, either as a Custom Venue or Getaway location, then post a link to what you want tested and a description of how you envision it running. I'll play around with it and post any issues I find during testing. Format will be similar to past Q&As where I have links to each subject and add more info to each based on questions asked and as I discover things through gameplay. I can't start posting right away this time due to the embargo, but will be taking notes/screenshots and will post info when I can. P.S. - I also have a Creator Code now, so if you find my Q&A useful you might consider it as an option at checkout. What Are Your Merfolk Doing Today 2.0
Since the old thread has multiple broken links and things are different here. I decided to create a 2.0 version of the old thread I created. I thought I would create this thread as a variant of the “What happened in Your Game Today?” thread. Serial and non-serial updates are welcome. Any mermadic discoveries in the Sims are more than welcome, including discoveries while using mods. Let's give our MerSims the spotlight here! Tips for what to share: The Only Rules: Keep the updates focused on merfolk! Denizens of the sea like Cecelia, Kelpies, and other variations of ocean dwellers are welcome here.
