Mass Effect: Andromeda - "You are not allowed to access online features"
Whenever I try to connect online in Mass Effect: Andromeda I see the message "You are not allowed to access online features". I'm able to play other games fine online. I've tried clearing my ea app cache, unlinking and re-linking steam, and changing my dns settings. From what I read on the EA forums this is an issue that only EA support can fix, potentially by removing and re-adding the game to my account. I'd really appreciated any help with this issue, would love to be able to properly play the game I own. Thank you in advance. Hello EA Support / Hazelight Team, There is a frustrating issue with the online co-op system. When one player experiences a brief internet dip, the entire session closes automatically for both players. To resume, we have to send and accept a new invitation every single time, which ruins the immersion. My Suggestion: Instead of kicking the player out instantly, please consider adding a "Retry / Reconnect" button. While a player is disconnecting, their character should just freeze in place until the connection is restored, allowing them to resume seamlessly without restarting the session or needing a new invite. I played the multiplayer way back when it was first released on the Xbox 360 and hoped to jump in again on PC/Steam for old times' sake. However, I've found that while the old Xbox Live Gamertag I had and Origin/PC profiles are on the same account, they are separate from each other. Since ~May 13th, I have been unable to open Mass Effect 3 on my PC. Whenever I try, the game crashes during the opening Bioware cinematic. The App then displays an error message "Failed to Launch Game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." I've tried troubleshooting on my own, and I just spent three hours navigating the live help, without a solution. I have the In-game Overlay turned off; I have repaired the EA App; I have repaired the game; I have restarted my computer and opened the EA App before opening Steam. For the last couple of weeks, I have been trying to troubleshoot fatal crashes for SF. I have looked up solutions on Google, Steam, Reddit, and Gemini, and nothing has stopped them. The crashes happen anywhere from a couple minutes to 10-15 minutes after launch. When the game crashes, audio continues as if the game is still playing normally. A pop up comes up that says "The UE-Split Gamme has crashed and will close | Fatal error! | Ok". Once I push the Ok button, the game shuts down. Here's my system and the steps I have taken. I have a debugging session that I provide upon request, but I will have to copy the entire text onto a response. RTX 5060 Ti (Brand New upgrade from a GTX 1070 Ti), AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11 Game is running through Steam. Bonjour, j'ai acheté votre "Mass effect légendary edition", qui est surtout légendaire car il doit démarrer via votre launcher EA codé avec le c**. J'ai, comme BEAUCOUP d'autres joueurs, le problème de "préparation du jeu..." qui tourne en boucle pendant 15 sec avant de disparaitre et de ne rien lancer.... Serait-il possible d'avoir, pour une fois, une solution efficace et surtout rapide à mettre en place. Le tout, avant la fin de la demande de remboursement du jeu. Car si je n’ai rien d'ici là, je me fais rembourser et je passe directement l'étape du "test du jeu" et j'écris directement mon article autour de la façon légendaire dont EA prend soin de ses joueurs. Hello, a couple days ago I reinstalling Mass Effect Andromeda on my steam account MisterDiego310, to play it again. Since then each time I try to get in the Online Features are disabled with the message: Missing Online Access. I can't Import or Export my character personalization nor can I access the Multiplayer side, and it is very frustrating because 2 years ago I bought and played the game normally, but now this issue is making me reconsider buying EA games if they are going to have this kind of online problems. I followed the troubleshooting guide on the EA Support page, but none of them have worked. I deleted and reinstalled the game, logged off and on and even uninstalled the EA App to check if those things could fix it up but nothing... I also reported and sent a Support description of my problem, I don't know if they attend those things, but I would like to know if there is something else I can do to.456Views2likes11Comments
