What's Happening in your Career Mode?
Been some time since I've checked in here and it's great to see some Career Mode Stories going again. Miss being apart of the community, unfortunately I don't have the time to keep up with writing about my careers just crack on and play them when I have a chance to actually play. I will certainly be catching up on the stories posted soon. Anyways, I created this thread for anyone who wishes to share what's going on in their Career Modes without going in depth just wanna keep it brief etc. Currently I'm doing a Career with Blackpool and it's been bonkers so far. Took over live start in a relegation battle and after a slow start had a ridiculous winning streak and ended up winning The League One Playoffs. 2nd season started off strong in Championship but form slipped however somehow made a late surge into the playoffs and back to back promotions via Wembley it was. Small budget in Prem was never expecting much and been in a relegation battle all season Currently 18th with 6 games to go and 3 points behind. Maybe back to The Championship, however after fluking our way through The Carabao Cup winning Penalty shoot outs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds against lower league opponents we surprised Man City over 2 legs in the semi finals to set up final against Arsenal. An early go from Blackpool and some lucky defending and we win. Crazy season, could be relegation, but we have European football next season 🤷♂️🤦🤣 Anyways, what's everyone else up to? Also looking forward to reading through those CMS Threads, last time I came no one was around so am happy to see some of you still going.16Views0likes1CommentCM Story - The Story of Josh McEwen
Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the departure of Vitor Pereira as head coach following their 2-0 away lose to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Wolves currently sit bottom of the Premier League table without a win from their first eight games and look to be favourites for relegation. The club have acted fast in replacing Vitor Periera with unknown manager Josh McEwen taking the reigns must to the disappointment of Wolves fans who are concerned that an unknown manager with no experience has been handed the tough task of saving Wolves from relegation woth a number of supporters clubs already criticising the appointment. A statement from Wolves was released earlier this morning. Wolverhampton Wanderers can confirm that Vitor Pereira has left his position as head coach by mutual consent. The club wishes to express its gratitude to Vitor for his dedication and hard work during his tenure at Molineux. This decision comes after a period in which results have unfortunately fallen short of both the club’s and supporters’ expectations. After careful consideration, the club’s leadership felt that a change was necessary not only to address immediate challenges on the pitch, but also to lay a stronger foundation for the long-term progress and success of Wolverhampton Wanderers. In light of this, the club is pleased to announce the appointment of Josh McEwen, as Vitor’s successor. The club believes that Josh’s fresh approach and vision can help to turn the season around, instil renewed confidence in the squad, and set a positive course for the future. Wolverhampton Wanderers are committed to supporting Josh as he takes on this role and look forward to the next chapter under his leadership. Josh added a brief statement saying “I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to manage Wolves, it is a club that belongs in the Premier league and our whole focus is on helping improve both performance and results on the pitch to ensure the club is still in the Premier League next season. I know concerns have been raised about myself being appointed but I urge our fans to get behind the players and give me the chance to show that I can turn this season around and keep this fantastic football club where they belong.”425Views3likes62Commentsaccount deletion request
<p>I’m really frustrated with this game. Most of my shots hit the post in critical moments, I keep conceding comeback goals in the 90th minute, and my pack luck is terrible. It honestly feels like this account is cursed.</p> <p>Please delete my account permanently. I confirm I want the account deleted as soon as you see this message.</p>23Views0likes1CommentNew faces
Can someone explain what’s going on with Manager career mode. The new patch finally added real faces for lots of players which is great. But in my existing career save their faces are still the old generic ones and the new scanned faces only appear if I start a completely new career. Seriously why do I have to create a new career just to see updated faces? I’ve already spent a lot of time building my team and developing players and now I’m basically forced to restart if I want the updated visuals, this doesn't make sense. why can’t EA fix this? It feels really unfair to long term career mode players.41Views2likes4Comments[CM Story] make AJAX great again!
In late 2010, after six seasons without a league title and declining results on the European stage, Johan Cruijff decided to step up at his home club AFC Ajax. Under his influence the tide was turned almost instantly. Four consecutive league titles under manager Frank de Boer were the precursor to international success under successors Peter Bosz and Erik ten Hag. Moreover, the club returned to its core values such as a focus on youth development, typical total football style of play and key positions in the club filled by people with so-called Ajax DNA. This period is commonly known as the Cruijff Revolution or Quiet Revolution. However while Ajax was at peak performance, around the time of the COVID pandemic directors Edwin van der Sar and Marc Overmars decided to step away from the vision set out by Johan Cruijff, who sadly passed away in early 2016. And while results were still fantastic and incoming transfer fees were astronomical under these directors and manager Ten Hag, the club fell into a sharp decline once the batton was passed to new managers and new directors, most notably Technical Director Sven Mislintat (ex-Dortmund, ex-Arsenal). The dramatic fall of the powerhouse in Dutch football seemed to have stopped under Francesco Farioli. However, he decided to call it quits after just one season, as he favoured FC Porto over an extended stay in Amsterdam. And so, Ajax yet again are looking for a new manager - maybe someone dedicated to move Ajax back towards the vision of Johan Cruijff.Solved115Views1like14CommentsNew career mode
EA Sports FC (FIFA) has always given us the chance to live the dream of being a footballer — but it’s always started the same way: you’re already a pro. What if we could start before that? What if we could live the entire journey — from playing in the park to lifting the Champions League trophy? That’s where my idea comes in. I call it Legacy Career Mode — the next evolution of Career Mode. 🌱 Your Journey Begins in the Park You start as a kid — no contracts, no fame, just a dream. You play football with your friends, learn the basics, and fall in love with the game. One day, your parent or coach signs you up for a local youth team. From there, everything depends on you: How much effort you put into training. How you perform in early youth matches. How disciplined or confident you are. Your choices matter — they determine if you get scouted early as a wonderkid or later as a hard-working underdog. Every player’s journey feels unique. There’s no one “correct” path. 🎓 The Academy Phase After being scouted, you join a U-16 academy. This is where you truly begin to grow. You balance training, studies, and matches. You learn tactics, teamwork, and discipline. Here’s what this stage could include: Daily training decisions that affect attributes. Coach feedback and positional guidance. Team chemistry with other academy players. Youth tournaments that determine who gets promoted. Early sponsorships, discipline choices, and reputation building. It’s all about development — physically, mentally, and emotionally. You’re not just building stats; you’re building a career. 🏟️ The Professional Leap Once you prove yourself, real clubs begin scouting you. Maybe it’s a lower-league team giving you your first chance — or a top academy like Barcelona or Manchester City taking you in. You start small, but your story grows: You sign your first professional contract. You experience real stadiums, fans, and media pressure. You make choices — chase fame, or focus on loyalty and legacy. You deal with form, injuries, and competition for your spot. This is where your Legacy truly begins. Every choice, every match, every transfer shapes who you become. 🕰️ Choose Your Era: Past, Present, or Future This feature adds huge replay value. You can start your journey in different time periods, each with authentic details: 2000s Era — classic kits, old stadiums, legends like Ronaldinho and Henry. 2010s Era — modern tactics, rising stars, global football boom. Future Era — futuristic stadiums, new nations, evolving rules. Each era would have its own vibe, technology, and football culture — letting you live your dream in any generation. ⚙️ Gameplay Systems Aging System: Start as a kid, grow through teen years, peak as an adult, retire as a legend. Dynamic Storylines: Press conferences, rivalries, agents, media rumors, and career-defining decisions. Player Lifestyle Choices: Fame vs focus, brand deals vs club loyalty, discipline vs risk-taking. Skill Evolution: What you do on and off the pitch changes how you play — a calm midfielder, an aggressive striker, or a creative playmaker. Generational Legacy: After retirement, your child can start their own journey — continuing your family name in football. 💭 Why It Works Career Mode has always been fun — but it’s missing one thing: life. Legacy Career Mode gives us that. It’s not just about football — it’s about growing up, facing choices, and living the full story of what it means to chase a dream. It combines the realism of Career Mode, the storytelling of The Journey, and the emotion of real football life — all in one mode. This would make every save feel personal. Every goal feel earned. Every season feel like history in the making. 🙌 Final Thoughts This isn’t just a feature — it’s the future of Career Mode. A true life simulator for football fans. From your first kick in the park to your last match as a legend. That’s the Legacy we all want to build. EA, if you see this — please, make this happen. This is what fans have dreamed of for years. Let us live the entire football life.13Views0likes0Comments- 341Views1like57Comments
