BF 2015 DLC maps should be available offline to those who bought them.
Star Wars Battlefront (2015) is frequently discounted now, so it's easy to forget just how big it was in its hayday. But back then it was easy to load up a game of walker assault on the DLC maps. Nowadays even a regular 40 player game is near impossible to come by, and the DLC ones are near impossible to play. I enjoy playing offline, but the two scarif maps and the cloud city map are not accessible without getting an extremely rare lobby. Since there is currently a drought of new Battlefront and people are starting to get bored of Battlefront II 2017, I think tweaking this finely-aged game in such a simple way could boost attention and possibly even sales. I also think that it's fair to those who purchased and wish to play these maps but have not had the occasion due to low online output.future of star wars games, or multiplayer star wars games
It's been 5 years since support ended for battlefront 2, lots of players were upset by this but during May of 2025 battlefront 2's playercount skyrocketed since 2021 Everyone loved the first Battlefront game, but for the second one it was buggy and problematic at launch, but you fixed that and then it was the most beloved star wars multiplayer game, for 5 years everyones asked for a new Battlefront, to bring back support, to update the game, everyone knows you guys lost rights to star wars games, but if you paid that small bit to make one again, you'd make more money than you'd lose, everyone whos been crying out for support to be brought back to the Battlefront 2 game, or for a new Battlefront to be made, please consider it, the mods for Battlefront 2 are so amazing, they have a lot of effort put into them and they even have dedicated servers to express the love of the remaining players, please and this is everyone asking, not just me, bring back support, or make a new Battlefront game, if modders made dedicated servers and added tons of new characters to the game just cause they love the game that much, you could consider listening to us I hope, and this is a request from all of the players who ever played any battlefront game, everyone loved the games, so please just give us a third Battlefront, or bring back support, thank you.
Hackers in Battlefront 2015/2017: what are EA responses ?
Dear EA, hi everyone, I have been playing battlefront 2015 and 2017 since release on console and later on PC. I have loved those games so much and crafted great memories playing them. Unfortunately, they have shown to be close to unplayable. (at least recently) The following applies more to BF2015 since that's the game I've played the most recently. Cheaters and hackers are all over the place: they see you everywhere, they kill you through wall, they take significantly less damage and deal absurd amount of damage. It is very important to understand, that this not just one hacker in the lobby. Those are several people in the same lobby making the game unplayable, and if you dare say something in the chat, they make the game crash and you instantly return to the main menu. My games usually last 3 minutes before I am kicked out to the main menu, and those are 3 minutes during which I was just killed through wall, at absurd ranges, with absurd amount of damage in no time. This has not always been the case. For instance, I do not remember encountering cheaters at launch. We, the players, use the report feature offered by AI to signal those hackers. However, nothing has changed in years. Cheaters come back with new accounts. Sometimes, they are still playing with the same one, despite reports. My question is, EA, what are you really doing against this ? What are the difficulties you encounter doing so ? How do you see the future of it ? Is the situation overwhelming ? If yes, how it it possible since you have expert hands on the code and can patch the game for each hack reported ? This is a real problem, because you are still selling a game that is almost exclusively an online players versus players game. It holds breaches exploited by hackers, which make the game unplayable. If you allow me the comparison, grocery stores are not selling spoiled food, so why would you ? I, as a player who bought your games, really needs to understand the situation. How did we come to this ? Why can't you get rid of cheaters ? What are doing to solve this issue, also what are you not doing ? I love BF2015. I really wish I could play it. But for now I just need explanations on the products I bought. I know this might not be read. But I am writing on the forum because I know that EA is less and less reachable; from experience, you cannot get those sorts of answer with the technical support system. Its been 5 years since updates to battlefront 2 have stopped. Please make battlefront 3 or update battlefront 2. This game is quite literally one of the top or best games you guys have. The amount of characters and game modes and other things you guys could add if you would just continue updating the game. Take a look at tiktok its everywhere. So I havent been able to play live for 3 weeks. I posted a discussion to ask for help which grew from there and now I can't find my discussion or any of the ones I was participating in. Can EA really delete entire threads like that? Has anyone gotten a fix for the server issue? Also I was a "seasoned newcomer" and now with this post it says I am a "new rookie" so I am guessing that the EA did take the threads downBattlefront (2015) can’t connect on xbox
Battlefront (2015) on xbox has been broken for over a month now and seems like EA deleted a lot of the threads bringing attention to it. It is completely unacceptable if EA plans on continuing to sell it on the Xbox store if they don’t plan on fixing it. EA, please have some integrity and either announce the game is getting shut down and stop selling it or fix it.
