EA FC 26 – Rush mode not finding teammates on Nintendo Switch.
I’m playing EA SPORTS FC 26 on Nintendo Switch and I’m unable to find matches in Rush mode. The game stays on “Finding teammates” for about one minute and then automatically cancels with the message “Unable to find teammates”. This happens consistently and is fully reproducible. Other online modes (such as Division Rivals) work normally, so this is not a connection issue. The main problem is that Rush mode is required to complete mandatory Ultimate Team objectives, and because I can’t find Rush matches, I’m blocked from progressing and from accessing the Transfer Market. This is a clear progression blocker on Nintendo Switch. I’ve already contacted EA Support and provided screenshots showing the issue. The case was registered and marked for further investigation. I’m posting here to report the issue publicly and to check if other Nintendo Switch players are experiencing the same problem. Update: Still unable to find Rush matches on Nintendo Switch. Tried Late Join multiple times today with no success. Update: Managed to unlock the market after coordinating with multiple friends and entering Rush matchmaking together. It appears to be a low matchmaking population issue on Nintendo Switch rather than account restriction.950Views2likes8CommentsA sustainable Hybrid Model for EA FC: Pay-Once model!
Hi everyone, I wanted to share an idea about how EA could transform its business model to make EA Sports FC more accessible for low-income players and young community members, without losing their core financial security. We all know the frustration of paying $70 USD every single September just for updated kits and squads. Here is my proposal for a Hybrid Pay-Once & Annual Expansion Model: Core Game Engine (One-Time Purchase): The user buys the base game engine once (digital or physical). This base game does not become obsolete or unplayable the following year. Annual Season Update (Low-Cost Expansion Pass): Every September, instead of releasing a whole new $70 box, EA drops a digital "Season Expansion Pass" priced between $15 and $20 USD. This is a fair, affordable price that kids and casual players can easily save up for during the year. Ultimate Team Reset & Live Microtransactions: Buying the annual expansion pass resets the Ultimate Team progress for that season. This completely reactivates the in-game economy, ensuring that content creators, streamers, and competitive players will still spend heavily on FC Points/Packs. EA keeps its biggest money-maker intact. Protecting Low-Income Players: If a player cannot afford the $15 expansion on a specific year, they don't get locked out of the game. They keep their base engine and can still play offline modes (Kick-Off, Local Career Mode) with friends, without feeling excluded from the football ecosystem. Why this makes financial sense for EA: - Massive Digital Volume: Lowering the annual entry price to $15-$20 USD will drastically increase digital sales volume, easily compensating for the drop in physical retail. - Zero Manufacturing Costs: No more spending millions making, shipping, and stocking physical discs or Switch cartridges every year. Everything becomes pure digital profit. - Killing the Used-Game Market: Since there are no physical discs becoming obsolete every September, the second-hand market slows down, forcing new players to buy the base game directly from EA. I think this is a win-win scenario. It keeps EA's investors happy with live-service revenue while respecting the pockets of the real community. What do you guys think? Would you support a model like this? Best regards, A member of the EA Sports FC Community20Views0likes1CommentRush matchmaking Switch 2
I’m sure some of you are aware but Rush matchmaking is completely busted on switch 2 and is required for objectives to unlock the transfer market. If EA took one second to scan through the r/Fifaswitch page they will understand. Paying extra money to play get early access and a core element is locked behind multiple barriers is a disgrace636Views9likes9CommentsUnable to find opponents in Rush Mode on Nintendo Switch 2
Hello, I am writing again about the “no teammates found” on rush mode. Rush mode needs to be played inorder to open the transfer market in objectives. So I joined switch fc26 discord to find people to play and the people there were telling me they tried to do rush mode for 5 weeks and could no find a single match due to smaller player pool in North America. Please can you fix this objective for Switch 2 users because it is impossible to find teammates on rush mode to play and complete the objective requirement to open the transfer market.460Views6likes5Comments90% percent of comments are complaints!
Does that not indicate that the developers need to address the community? EA is riding the coat tails of genuine soccer fans. No one is buying the game for its quality. They are buying the game for the teams and countries they like. The game for the last ten years has been terrible to put it lightly and the comments have proven that. Will the moderators please relay to the developers that the forum is so filled with complaints it is likely that if FIFA ever supports another game company it will tank EAFC because of bad quality.137Views3likes5CommentsFC 26 – Connected Career World: The Future of Career Mode
FC 26 – Connected Career World The Future of Career Mode For years, Career Mode has been a single-player experience. Every save file creates a separate universe where achievements, transfers, trophies, and stories exist only for one player. Hello EA SPORTS FC team, I would like to strongly request the addition of a proper Online World Cup / International Tournament Mode, similar to the excitement we had during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Back then, one of the most enjoyable experiences was being able to: Choose a national team Play a full online tournament against real players Go through a knockout bracket (group stage → round of 16 → quarterfinals → final) Experience the feeling of a real World Cup competition online This created a very competitive and immersive mode that many players loved, especially during the World Cup period. What I am suggesting: Please add a permanent or recurring Online International Tournament Mode with the following features: Full Online Knockout Tournament Players select national teams (e.g. Croatia, Brazil, France, etc.) 48-team or 32-team bracket format Real-time matchmaking against other players Group stage + knockout rounds (just like real World Cup format) Co-op 2v2 Online Option Allow players to invite a guest/friend Play as a duo (2v2) in online tournament matches Same national team or custom co-op teams This would make the mode even more fun for friends playing together Rewards and Progression Cosmetic rewards (kits, badges, stadium themes) Seasonal ranking or leaderboard for tournament performance Special World Cup event weekends Limited-Time Events Could be released during international breaks or World Cup years Or as a recurring event in FUT / Online Seasons Why this is important: This mode was one of the most exciting parts of previous FIFA World Cup experiences. It felt unique because it was not just Ultimate Team or regular online seasons — it was a true competitive international tournament against real players. Many players still miss this experience and would love to see it return in EA SPORTS FC as a dedicated online mode. Thank you for reading, and I hope this idea reaches the development team.36Views0likes0Comments
