Proposal: Dynamic Draft Stock
I would like to suggest a more dynamic system for determining which Dynasty players enter the NFL Draft. Currently, draft outcomes appear to depend heavily on a player’s overall rating. This can create unrealistic results where highly productive players simply graduate instead of being drafted because their overall rating is below an internal threshold. For example, I had an 83-overall running back who broke multiple school records, earned All-American honors, won several awards, and helped lead the team to the College Football Playoff semifinals. Despite that level of production, his departure was listed as graduation rather than the pro draft. I believe overall rating should remain an important part of draft evaluation, but it should not be the only major factor. A Draft Stock score could be calculated throughout the season using factors such as: Overall rating Season statistics Career statistics National statistical rankings Conference and national awards All-American selections School and NCAA records Playoff and championship performance Physical attributes relevant to the player’s position Player age and class Overall rating could provide the player’s baseline draft score. Production, awards, and major accomplishments could then add to that score. For example, a player rated between 90 and 95 overall might receive a strong baseline score. That player could then receive additional draft-stock points for recording 1,200 receiving yards, scoring touchdowns, earning All-American honors, or winning a positional award. The players with the highest Draft Stock scores could then be placed into the seven-round draft pool. Since there are 32 selections in each of seven rounds, the game could rank eligible players while also applying realistic positional demand. This would allow an elite-rated player with average production to remain a strong prospect, while also allowing an 82- or 83-overall player with an exceptional season to become a legitimate late-round draft pick. The main benefit would be that player performance would matter beyond awards and school records. A breakout season would affect a player’s professional future, which would make Dynasty results feel more connected and believable. An 83-overall running back who leads the nation in rushing, earns All-American honors, wins the Doak Walker Award, and breaks school records should at least have a realistic chance of being drafted rather than automatically being categorized as a graduating player.NCAA 27 dynasty mode. Formation subs. Remove the 50 Formation Sub limit.
Dear EA College Football Development Team, First, thank you for bringing college football back. The gameplay continues to improve, and Dynasty is by far my favorite mode. However, one feature continues to significantly limit the experience: the 50 Formation Sub limit. Please consider removing this limit entirely, or at the very least increasing it substantially (200+). For players who enjoy building realistic football schemes, 50 substitutions simply isn’t enough. I run a field/boundary defensive system, which requires approximately 8 personnel changes per formation. Across multiple fronts (3-3-5 3 high, Nickel, Dime, short yardage, longer passing down sub packages, Goal Line, etc.), I exceed the limit before I even begin setting offensive personnel. On offense, I rotate multiple running backs, move backs into receiver positions, create third-down packages, and build situational personnel groups. That alone can require dozens more substitutions. The current cap forces players to abandon realistic personnel packages—not because of football strategy, but because of an arbitrary menu limitation. This isn’t a competitive balance issue, since Formation Subs are an offline and online Dynasty customization tool. Players who don’t want to use them simply don’t have to. Possible solutions: • Remove the limit entirely. • Increase the limit to at least 200. College football is built around specialized personnel packages. The more freedom players have to recreate real coaching philosophies, the better Dynasty becomes. Thank you for continuing to improve the game and for listening to community feedback. I hope this is something the team considers for a future title update. Sincerely, A longtime College Football Dynasty player Thank you, Garrett Hein107Views4likes4CommentsCan’t Edit Styles or Numbers of players
First off, this is a team builder team, with fictitious players. When I go to make changes to the player styles, they are set to “Default” and cannot be changed. Same with the numbers. Additionally, I have changed the settings to allow for anyone in the league to make changes. It still won’t allow me to make changes. Is there a workaround or is this something that will be changed in an update?40Views1like2CommentsDynasty player manipulation
I’ve been playing college football since 06 and one of my favourite parts is fiddling with the rosters. I’ve created a few team builder teams based on teams that I’ve played on in the past. Once uploaded and I begin my dynasty, two of my created teams allow me to change player physiques/ratings/numbers etc., but the other 4 don’t. I’d like to be able to do it on all of my teams, but I can’t seem to figure out why some teams allow me to while the other teams don’t. Anyone else have this happen?NES NCAA 27 Online Dynasty Recruiting | 3-Star Teams | Heisman | Streaming REQ

I have built multiple custom teams and have put them inside of the same conference to make sure they play each other but there are no options to actual make them rivals, can we fix this?!?! I get no making it not an option when you are making the teams off the bat but there should be at least some way to create a rival, because as of right now I need to make sure to go into there schedules each year to make sure they face each other and I don't get to see anything come out of it, and this would also be a great opportunity to force a white out or something in relation to build the hype of the rival game. As of right now it's a pain to do this every year and to see not stats from the matchups and this is only when i have 3 teams, what if i wanted to put in more? Overall i think there should be a way to select rivals before a start of a season and the game from then on out makes sure the rivals play each other and saves stats along with custom actions to make the teams feel like a real rival.64Views0likes3Comments
