1080p Scaling still doesn't scale properly (March 15th Patch)
Well, the title says it all. This issue is supposed to be fixed in today's patch, but it's not. The UI in 1080p looks as tiny as it looked before. It's true we now can use a lower resolution to "fix" this issue, but it's not an ideal solution since I think everyone would want to use their native resolution with a decent UI size... Image 1 is the game running at 1364x768. Image 2 is the game running at 1920x1080. As you can see, the UI size is still VERY different in 1080p, the issue is not solved yet.
The Sims™ Legacy Collection won't Launch - Crashes without error
Hello! I recently updated my PC to have a RTX 5080 graphics card and AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor. It runs Windows 11 Pro. After reinstalling The Sims™ Legacy Collection, it fails to launch. Crashing immediately, without any error messages. The icon just flashes in the task bar. I have been looking through the forums and none of the suggestions have been able to help me resolve this issue. I have tried the following: Have the latest version of the game installed Installed the latest windows updates Updated my graphics card drivers Configured windows to launch the game in low power mode Tried launching the game in Windows XP compatibility mode - as administrator Tried reinstalling the Microsoft redistributables from 2015 and newer. Collected my DxDiag and Vulkan info logs Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Sims 1 Legacy Collection, lost Elle Woods NPC
The Sims: Superstar had an Amazon Exclusive pre-order DLC for an Elle Woods celebrity NPC: https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Elle_Woods Please, if an EA employee sees this message, use whatever contacts you have at Amazon to get this DLC content back, it's currently entirely lost media because Amazon doesn't directly sell New copies of The Sims: Superstar anymore and finding someone who has the code in their Amazon account has been fruitless so far. It would make so many fans of The Sims 1 very happy, not to mention really make this 25th Anniversary worth celebrating, please!
Pool Bug in Studio Town
There is a strange bug happening in StudioTown. When I go to this specific pool in a spa in 82 Sunrise Boulevard, the Room Need goes negative and causes my mood to instantily go red. Even the Room bar breaks. But as soon as I get out of the pool, everything goes back to normal. I tested other pools in other community lots like the park in Old Town and everything was fine there.Spanish Localization incorrect character names
Some Sims in the first entry have some different names/surnames than their future iterations' appearances, in TS1 the Goth family even uses 2 different surnames for the Mortimer/Bella household and the Gunther/Cornelia one ?????? (This was fixed in TS2/TS3). I'm using future iterations of the characters and not TS1 because those are actually consistent and TS1 is the "wrong" one in comparison. The format is "Wrong name/Surname -> Correct name/surname (according to TS2/TS3/TS4) Gunther Hernández -> Gúnter Lápida Cornelia Hernández -> Cornelia Lápida Menelaus Hernández -> Menelaus Lápida Hecuba Hernández -> Hecuba Lápida Miguel Soltero -> Miguel De la Soledad Virginia Gentil -> Remedios Gentil Señorita Traseroajado -> Señorita Culoprieto Ginia Fernández -> Ginia Gati Waggles Fernández -> Waggles Gati Boots Fernández -> Boots Gati Scout Fernández -> Scout Gati Maggie Fernández -> Maggie Gati Brad Pérez -> Alejo Clavel Tiffany Pérez -> Tífani Clavel Johnny Pérez -> Lolo Clavel Tucker Pérez -> Tucker Clavel La Autovía Gunther Goth -> La Autovía Gúnter Lápida (this one isn't a Sim name, it's the name of the Gunther Goth Highway) Honestly, I don't think this is as important as some bugs, but I feel like keeping lore consistency is important in such a big series so (if possible) I'd love to see this fixed at some point :))))
