Sims medieval can't install
I'm trying to install the sims medieval but installation fails at 96/97% every time with the below error: Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue I have tried running the vc redistributable .exe(s) from the install folder and repairing each but it isn't fixing the issue. I have also cleared the EA app cache and tried installing programs directly from the MS website
Sims medieval service initialization failed (0x0175d824)
I downloaded The Sims Medieval from the EA app but it won't open and keeps giving me "service initialization failed (0x0175d824)" error every time I try to launch. I've already tried: Changing resolution in options.ini Using alder lake patch Repairing through EA App Uninstalling and reinstalling Deleting TSM folder after uninstalling and then reinstalling again Using PowerShell to launch Changing in task manager to only use one CPU Running as administrator I have a 12th gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U, Windows 11, and I use an Intel graphics card on my laptop. I don't know much about computers so if any more info is needed please let know! I hope someone has a solution, it's so frustrating that I've spent money on it just for it not to work right out of the box. ☹️ Any help is appreciated, thank you! This feels practically hopeless.
Błąd instalacji The Sims Medieval
Kupiłam grę jeszcze na originie, na windows 10, wyskakiwał ten sam błąd po instalacji co na w11 (zdjęcie), na w10 próbowałam z trybem zgodności, z trybem administratora i wpisywaniu kodu, który miał usunąć samo okienko błędu. Nigdzie nie widziałam tego typu błędu, zaaktualizowałam sterowniki i próbowałam jeszcze wpisywać kod gry do strony do the sims 3, żeby ją zarejestrować, ale nie znalazłam kodu cd. Próbowałam instalować grę z dodatkiem i bez. Czy ktoś widział gdzieś taki komunikat i czy da się z tym błędem jakoś uruchomić grę?
The Sims Medieval não abre
Comprei recentemente o The Sims Medieval pelo EA app no Windows, e nunca consegui jogar o jogo. Ele abre uma caixa de diáologo da Origin com a seguinte mensagem: Invalid License. Reason Code= Missing DLL:[d3dx9_31.dll] Error: 0x7E Vi que esse não é um erro incomum, mas não encontri uma solução ainda. E apesar de não conseguir jogar o jogo, o app considera essa mensagem aberta como "tempo de jogo", então não consigo nem pedir o reembolso. Alguma ajuda?Sims Midieval Doesn't work
Purchased a few days ago, I did all the basics, uninstall and reinstall, the repair the app offers. Tried the powershell script fix I found online which managed to get the game to launch, but not smoothly. The lag was so bad it was basically non functional (weird because my PC handles TS4 with every expansion and zero lag or even load time.) Tried to get a refund but couldn't, since it's technically been launched. I even tried the Alder Lake patch but that's a no as well. Any advice? I have a Mac, and every time I've tried to buy The Sims Medieval for Mac, it's appeared as the windows version in my library. I tried purchasing the windows version instead to see if they were just labeled wrong, but it still showed up as for windows. What the heck do I do?
Can't access saves in menu (Sims Medieval)
I'm on PC, using the latest BS Windows (Windows 11, version 24H2) has put out and now Sims Medieval is not accessing my saves. I can open the game, start a new game, play the game and even save the game but once I leave and come back the save is nowhere to be found on the menu. I know I have the save. I see it in my files! The game even tells me I can't name my save the same thing as a file that already exists. I've had a save on there before it worked and was fine but that before the update in 2024. I haven't played in a really long time so I'm thinking it's the Windows 11, version 24H2 that's the problem. I just want to know if I need to downgrade to windows 10 again. Unfortunately, I don't know if or what version Medieval worked with Windows 11. I also can't remember this being a problem before but it always was I just got lucky before. What I've tired that did not work: looking for answers here but can't find my specific problem. uninstalling and reinstalling the game moving my saves around starting new saves (no save file is ever found on the menu) cleared caches repair in EA launcher tried renaming the file (worked but then the same issue occurred after trying to save it again) I'm not sure what else to do other then getting windows 10 back on my PC but I'd rather not do that if there's another fix.can't launch sims medieval and redeem code
I bought the sims medieval around 2013 and I' trying to launch it on the EA app but it doesn't work. When I put the code on it says I should redeem it but when I try it says the code is invalid. The game is installed on the app but when I open it I have a window saying that the installation is not completed.

Ostatnio zainsatlowalam tsm na nowy komputer z windowsem 11 i gra ani razu sie nie wlaczyla, przy kazdym kliknieciu graj na pare sekund minimalizuje ea app no i nic sie nie dzieje. Mam edycje specjalna, bez plyty i nie wiem co moge zrobic, nigdy tak nie mialam. Wie ktos czemu tak jest?
