A wardens best friend, no floors load
On the game after meeting Davris, there are no floors, this is preventing me from being able to complete the objectives. I tried reloading it and finding a workaround, but I couldn't progress. I have clicked to go back to the title screen and now the screen is just black, I cannot even load the game.
Graphical Glitches With Face Paint
As the title says Im on Xbox Series X on performance mode and when I zoom away, the paint is properly coloured but when its in a cutscene or I zoom in, the paint turns to glittery gold. This should not be happening and its kind of frustrating:/ I added two photos One of when I am zoomed away and one when I am up close. This glittery stuff happens in conversation cutscenes too and very much in the character creator and its leading me to believe its an issue with the face paint.
Why?
The playable character is uncentered at all times. Not only does this drive me absolutely crazy, but it also gives me terrible motion sickness. The Persistent dot makes it worse and I have turned off all other recommended settings that have been mentioned across the internet. It's not helpful that when you open a chest or a door the camera whips around and then follows too close behind. 😵 I love Dragon Age. I love the characters. I WANT to play the game that took years to make. Please Please make a Mod or patch that fixes this problem. PLEASE! PLEASE. Thanks! ~NerdyRedHead Playing on Xbox X/S
Ability upgrade Multiplicity doesn't seem to work on Entropic Sphere
As the title says, the Ability Upgrade: Multiplicity does not seem to work with abilities like Entropic Sphere. Nowhere says it shouldn't as it is a projectile Ability. I've read people also wandering about other abilities not working with Multiplicity like chain lightning or even Dark Squall. When I Tested Dark Squall myself, it doesn't seem to shoot 2 balls at any rate. I'm on Xbox Series X.No Companion Dialogue During Enemy Battles
I’m currently having an issue where companion dialogue during fights seems to be bugged. I haven’t had any at all for a solid 10+ hours of gameplay now and nothing I’ve tried, like rebooting the game and console, has brought it back. It seemed to start around the time I locked in Emmrich’s romance, as I heard his romance specific fight dialogue once and then I’ve had nothing from any of the companions since then.
Graphics bug
every time I play dragon age veilgard, I have issues with the graphics. It’s now got that bad that I can’t play the game. it started off with graphics not loading in for all surrounding environments and now does the same for even characters clothing. The only graphics that loads properly is characters faces. Now the floor has started disappearing walking through every locations. I can’t even get to where I need to go in Dock town as all the floor has gone, I can only hope from wall to wall hopefully I don’t fall in the water below. i really love this game, but I can’t play it anymore. I’ve done all the normal restarts too but no luck. I play on Xbox too for some context.
Can we get an official response for the missing DLC?
It's been over 2 weeks and no official word with what is going on with the missing DLC. Many of us are still unable to play with the pre order and deluxe items. We spent our money on this and still nothing. Two patches and still nothing. What is going on?
[Xbox] Dialogue in French and Won’t Change
I quit the game and when I came back it was in French. I changed the setting back to English it said to restart for it to work but restarting didn’t work. It won’t change back to English. It says in the settings it’s in English, my Xbox settings are in English but it is still in French. I’ve reset my Xbox a dozen times trying to fix it over the last couple of days to no avail. I saw another post for this issue but no solution.
Xbox Can't progress - ground missing, excessive loading
Played through once with no issues. Started a new playthrough, and the game is now unplayable. I noticed someone else posted about this, but the post seemed to have been ignored, so I'm posting again. Loading times in and out of cutscenes has become excessively long. The screen goes blank, and it seems as though the game has frozen or crashed, but then after 30-45+ seconds, it will eventually load. This is frustrating but not game-breaking. The most serious and game-breaking new issue arose when starting The Smuggled Relic Case quest. Upon travelling to Dock Town, in the opening cutscene and convo, the cobblestone streets of Minrathous have vanished, and Neve and Rook are walking on nothing. As soon as the quest loads to following Neve, Rook immediately starts falling until they hit an open body of water and die. Attempting to load the most recent save immediately opens with Rook falling again. It's an endless loop. I can go back to the save right before attempting to start the quest, but as soon as I travel to Dock Town it automatically starts the quest, and the same issue returns. It is now impossible to progress the main story. I have tried restarting the game, restarting the console, reinstalling the game.
