[Known Issue] EA Connect - Login Issue

Hi everyone,

We’re aware of an issue where some players on Motorola Android devices may be unable to complete sign-in to EA Connect mobile.

Affected players may be returned to the login screen after entering details, selecting an account, or completing the final step of sign-in. In some cases, no error message is shown.

Possible workaround

We’re investigating reports that this may be related to the Protect from online scammers setting in the Moto Secure app.

We don’t recommend leaving security protections turned off. However, if you’re affected by this issue, you can try temporarily pausing this setting to check whether it allows sign-in to complete:

  1. Open the Moto Secure app.
  2. Find Protect from online scammers (may also be called Phishing detection)
  3. Temporarily turn this setting off.
  4. Open EA Connect mobile and try signing in again.
  5. After signing in, return to Moto Secure and turn Protect from online scammers back on.

This setting may also be available through your Android device settings if Moto Secure is installed.
