I don't like this, mostly because it makes me wonder what kind of censorship is going on behind the scenes. It's the internet so of course there are going to be certain words & phrases that are disallowed, but that's a pretty standard practice and I've never seen a forum feel a need to announce that a post passed those kinds of censors. You either won't be able to submit the post with a banned word/phrase included or it will be auto-censored to asterisks. My logical mind wants to believe that because EA probably built or commissioned their own framework for this forum the censor for those things runs after a post is submitted rather than while it's being written and the new 'approved' tag is just a reflection of that. My skeptical mind is inclined to think that new features have been added to limit the visibility of posts with too much criticism or frustration.
Lately I've seen a lot of comments throughout other Sims communities where users are very suspicious about security breaches on mod/CC sites before the Marketplace's release and the way the Marketplace initially made it impossible to play with existing CC. I don't give any credit to those theories myself, but it seems pretty tone-deaf on EA's part to roll out a feature that makes it look like our posts here are subject to new/additional reviews while that's the current climate of the player base.
