Re: ERROR MSVCP140.dll, SETTING UP ORIGIN ON WINDOWS 10
@javahousebrew Are you getting error messages about missing DLLs, or something else?
If you are getting missing MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll error messages, did you mean that you've tried uninstalling the Origin client or uninstalling the Visual C++ redistributables? If you haven't already tried this, uninstall both the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) from your computer. If both are installed, uninstall both. If only one is installed, uninstall it. Then go to https://support.microsoft.com/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads. Download both vc_redist.x64.exe and vc_redist.x86.exe linked under the heading "Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019" and install them.
