Re: Can't log in - Origin Offline - No internet to go online

@medicatedmel  Try launching Sims 4 directly through its .exe, rather than through Origin.  If you do it this way, Origin will open and ask for your password, but you should be able to login and launch the game while offline.  Just don't clear Origin's cache, or you'll need to go back online once to verify your credentials.

The TS4_x64.exe (standard version) and TS4.exe (Legacy Edition) are in the game's program files; if you never changed the default install location, these are the file paths:

Program files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

Program files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin_LE

If you have a Mac, you can double-click on the Sims 4 icon in Applications, either the normal Applications folder or the user one.

If all else fails, you can set your phone as a mobile hotspot just long enough to login to Origin, then put it in offline mode and launch the game.

@medicatedmel  Of course Origin would log you out, but I take it you can't login again without internet?  Origin is supposed to accept an offline login for precisely your circumstances.

What you can try is disabling your network adapters.  Reboot your computer, but don't open Origin yet.  (Make sure it's not set to open with Windows, or kill it and its related processes in the Task Manager.)  You'll need to have no working adapters at all when you launch Origin.

If this doesn't help, clear Origin's cache and try again.  You'll need to login once while online afterwards, so do your testing while you're somewhere with an internet connection.
