Hey all, can you try running the game in compatibility mode to see if that makes a difference?

What happens when you try to run the game, do you see an error message, does it crash or other?

Yes Ive tried up to compatibility for windows xp sp2. With run as admin set. Also tried the "Disable full screen optimizations" option as well.

Nothing actually pops up on my screen when i try to run it, but it does seem like the game is trying to run for a few sec my mouse disappears and i can pull it to my other monitor and see it, at this time if i go to the alt+tab list fast enough I can see Populous there, the next second its gone.

Happens pretty fast, faster than i would expect a game to crash on run.

Hey @rcs300 can you grab me a DxDiag so that I can take a look and see if the game is crashing on start up or something else happening?

Have you guys solved this issue yet? I just bought the game and same thing happens for me.
