i have a problem about my Fifa 21, yesterday i bought it from Steam and for few hours i can played it, but then today when i try to play the game it is just keep opening the origin but the fifa launcher wont come out, any solution? i have try to delete the caches but it doesnt work

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files in Steam to see if that helps at all? For more information on how to verify the files check out the Steam Support website. Let me know if you're still having trouble starting up the game afterward.

yes i tried that but it doesnt work, but i just found the way to fix it now. i change the value from fifasetup.ini in fifa 21's document. thanks for the answer

Fifa 21 won't open.

just Administrator box pops and ask to make changes to this app, I click yes and it won't launch.

already cleared cache and repaired fifa from origin

but it just won't open

i have the same problem and still no solution,even reinstalling the game will not work

If you're still having trouble starting up FIFA 21 can you try setting up a Clean Boot on your PC to see if that helps? If there's something else running on your PC which might be preventing the game from launching that may help to get around it.

Hi @EA_Kent ,

I can't lauch FIFA21 after there was some update installed yesterday. I could play without any problem before but the last time I was played was more than a week ago.

Only Origin is launched, it shows it's launching and syncig cloud but then it rerturns to the Origin home page again and FIFA is not launched (see the s/shots).

I tried to clear the cache, install the most up to date version of VC++, clean boot,  re-install FIFA 21 and Origin, but nothing has helped so far.

Any idea how to launch it? Thanks!

Did you also have the chance to try setting up a clean boot on your PC to see if that makes any difference at all? My previous post has more information on how to set one up.

Got it, thanks! Do you have FIFA 21 installed on the same storage drive as the Origin client, or is it stored on a different drive?

If you're able to launch it on your own Windows user account but not your son's it sounds like it's most likely a permissions issue in Windows. If you'd rather not add admin permissions to your son's account you can also try adjusting the UAC Settings to see if that helps as well. For more info on how to change them check out the EA Help website. Look for the section in that article titled Try lowering the User Access Control settings.

Hmm, gotcha. Can you also try fully uninstalling and reinstalling the Origin client to see if that makes any difference as well? If there's a problem with the client data that may help fix the issue. For more information on how to manually remove the Origin client check out the EA Help website. Look for the steps under the section titled How to uninstall the Origin client the hard way and give those a shot. 

Once the client has been removed you can then download the most recent version from the Origin website. Let me know how that goes once  you've had the chance to give it a try. Thanks!

Can you test something for me when you've got a chance? What happens if you create a brand new admin user account in Windows and try launching FIFA 21 from there? I'm curious if this is strictly happening with your son's user account, or if any other Windows accounts would be affected the same way.

Thanks for following up! It does sound like there's an issue with that specific Windows user account. There may be something corrupted in the installation for that particular user. The easiest way to get around that would most likely be copying the files from the current user to the new one you created and have your son use that one.

i have the same problem but when i press on FIFA 21 in Origin it puts the little tap listing the options PLAY , GAME SETTINGS , EXIT. When i press play nothing happens i have left it after pressing that for almost 20 minutes and still nothing has worked.

can you help me @EA_Kent
