If you're still having this same issue when you're trying to download games in Origin, can you try clearing out the Origin cache to see if that helps? I've seen some cases in the past where issues in the cached data can lead to situations like this, so I'm curious if that would help here as well.

Thanks for giving it a shot!

What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch the Origin client? If there's something else running on your PC that's interfering with the Origin client that might help to get around it.
