It sounds like the purchase may have tried to charge twice, but only one of those charges should actually go through. The pending charge should automatically fall off after a bit, but the actual length of time can vary depending on your financial institution.
If both charges actually went through, I think it would be best to get in touch with the EA Help team so they can locate the purchase and see what might have happened.
