Re: Steam Version of Sims 4 on Mac

Hey there @DylanDevs,

The Steam version of The Sims 4 is a PC only version of the game, it's not compatible with Mac. 

If you're having trouble getting your Steam version over into your Origin library, that's something the live support team on the help site here can help with. I'm afraid here on Answers HQ, we don't have access to view your account information.

    I have the steam version fine in my origin. But then how do I buy the sims 4 on origin and keep all my dlcs and such? It's pretty unfair if you can't do that.

    @DylanDevs If you already own the game, there's no need to re-buy. If you're seeing the Steam version in your Origin library, you should just be able to launch and play the game through Origin directly. 

    Are you having issues launching the game through your Origin library?

    You have to rebuy the game and packs in Origin. There is no way to transfer from Steam to Origin for Mac users.

    I think you also have to unlink your Steam account but I'm clueless about how to do this. I'm moving your thread to the Origin forum where it will receive better help than in the Mac Sims 4 forum.
