Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 "cant find a match"
Solved
Solution: Either the EA support has solved the problem, or I solved the problem by Disabling, and then Enabling all Microsoft services in the System Configuration.
I reinstalled my drivers with NVCleanInstall, that might also have contributed to solving the problem.
I was using WinAero to disable unnecessary Windows Services, and later had an installation of AtlasOS running. The game now runs even with the aforementioned Microsoft services disabled again.
Installing the following might also help solving other problems, like the game not booting up at all:

Try all of the proposed to solutions and post in the comments what solved the problem for you.
I get the error message "cant find a match" after trying to find a match in the portal.
My license is on Steam and my game is detected in my connected EA account. I have run the game with this same EA account but with a PS4 disc license and that worked.
What I have tried:
Switching teams (Plants to Zombies)
Changing to a different server (all of them)
Restarting my game
Restarting my PC
Disabling my Pi-Hole and resetting DNS settings
Enabling uPnP
Port forwarding UDP Ports: 3659, 49152-65535
Running Windows update
Skipping my router altogether
Reinstalling Steam
Reinstalling the game
Installing the game on a different drive
Reinstalling EA play
Fresh install of Windows
Disabling Windows Security
Disabling router firewall
Disabling Windows firewall
Disabling antivirus
Changing my nickname to something that does not contain EA (-EaqIe- to test)
Calling EA
Contacting EA support through live messaging.
Clearing the cache of the EA app
Clean boot of Windows with only Microsoft services and EABackgroundService enabled.
The staff adviced me to post my problem here. I was told my problem could be solved by the Account Team within 2-3 hours. Those have now passed, and the problem presists.
I have not yet been asked to provide a dxdiag or msinfo32 dump
