What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Gliding

What happens when the bug occurs? If you are gliding and you are almost landing ie with your boosters activated and you hold g and move your mouse forward, it shoots you super far in the direction you are looking. Therefore you can do it at the start of the game to land before everyone else, and if you go from a balloon, you can look up before you hold g and it shoots you super far into the air. This is not a joke, you can use it for infinite flight
What should be happening instead? Nothing/the grenade wheel opens
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hold G while your boosters are activated and move mouse forward. Your character goes in the direction you are looking
