Re: Apex Xbox One X crash to home screen

@ModelZeroEXE

Select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console
Select Reset and Keep my Games & Apps.

Select Profile & System > Settings > General > Power mode & startup > Power mode > Select Energy-saving

Select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console info > Disable optional data collection

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
My games & apps > Apex Legends > press more options > Manage game & add-ons > Saved data > Reserved space > Clear Reserved space
This might fix any corrupted data.
In-game brightness might reset.

Another thing you could try is if you play on external hard drive then move the game to internal hard drive.

Try to keep your hard drive 87% full or less.

  • I just bought a new ssd today and currently installing apex again. If this install does the same thing I may just have to take my Xbox somewhere else to install with better and more consistent internet. If it STILL fails then I'll chaulk it up to a faulty Xbox. It doesn't overheat or anything. I'm just REALLY hoping the ssd and fresh install of everything will fix the issue. I'll still try the above mentioned steps too. Just to make 100% sure. I've just been playing on pc and using Xbox game bar to have party chat with my Xbox friends. Lol.
