Is this happening every time you're in a match, or was this a one-off situation?

  • It occurs every time, and has been happening for like 3-4 days now, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've tried other controllers and mic's, and going into my settings and nothing has fixed it

    Do you have any other Xbox Gamertags on your console? If so, what happens if you launch Apex Legends through another account? Is the mic still not working? I'm curious if this is only happening on this specific account, or if it happens with all accounts on your Xbox. 

  • @EA_Kent it was happening to all accounts on my Xbox, however I logged in yesterday and it was working as it should

    Do you currently have any other USB devices connected to your Xbox? If so, can you try disconnecting all the other devices and test to see if that makes any difference? I am curious if there is something else that might be interfering. 

  • @EA_Kent I had a wired controller USB plugged in and when I unplugged that it didn't help, and I have a USB external hard drive and unplugging that didn't help either, I've restarted my console and such since then and that didn't help either

    It's definitely weird that it seems to come and go. I'm curious if it might actually be connection-related. Can we try some other steps to see if we can help fix this here? 

    A good place to start would be with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If you're still having any trouble after that check out the Xbox-specific steps as well. Let me know how that goes when you can. Thanks!
