Weekly Challenge "Knockdown with Akimbos in any mode" not counting TDM kills

Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? n/a
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. TDM Core
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Using Akimbo Mozambiques
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 1
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 23.08.24 13:00 (approx)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Using Akimbo Mozambiques in TDM and definitely knocked down 4 enemies, but challenge remains incomplete (didn't count any of the Akimbo kills from that round).
What should be happening instead? Challenge should have accounted for 4 kills and completed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try Akimbos in Mixtape.

    Seems that this issue relates to any Mixtape mode, have had multiple kills in every game mode and no change to the challenge.

    Is is possible the required game mode has been mistakenly flagged as Arenas?

    I just played a team deathmatch and got 7 kills only playing akimbos mozambique only to complete this challenge and it shows as zero at the end. Please fix this.

    So it’s an issue that many are having. No response EA?  I thought this was a place to get answers.  I posted a thread yesterday not realizing this thread was started WEEKS ago. Between this and the “revive 30 squadmates in NBR” I think we are owed a few levels. If this thread was weeks ago, then that means this issue has been duplicated. I noticed it on week 6 as I tracked the challenge. I don’t play BR. I might have to play with cheaters in all modes, but at least with mixtape, I can respawn and try to enjoy the gameplay. Getting beamed in the first round of BR then waiting 10-15 minutes for a match to requeue is not my idea of fun. 

    can we please at least get an acknowledgment from EA on this. Otherwise, why is this forum even here?

    A quick update. I've just played a game of ordinary trios and armed myself with akimbo p2020 and got the 2 kills needed. I'm only saying this to present an example of how it's worked for me as it may still not work for everyone.
