Re: Input Locking after about an hour of playing

@AshFrankland94 What FFB are you using? Very possibly clipping due to high FFB and prolonged play. Also the motors in the controller can overheat leading to less responsiveness or even cut out. I use relatively low FFB but still tend to pause and let controller rest for a few minutes every hour.

  • I'll take a look next time I play, but I've never noticed any excessive heat or unresponsiveness of the FFB, just the inputs from the controller.

I use an Xbox controller, but have tested out multiple Xbox controllers, and have even used an old Stadia controller which doesn't even have trigger motors, and they all seemed to experience the same issue in the same time frame.

  • So, I've investigated this issue more with no luck in finding the cause or a solution.

Though as an extension of the initial reported problem, I now know it exists/has existed since as early as F1 2015, as I recently was playing that and after a few multi-hour play sessions on it had the identical problem multiple times.

Post a dxdiag as this is most definitely a "you" problem.
