- Decofaybert3 years agoNew TravelerHello, here's a short video in Bahrain, it's simply impossible to keep the car on the track, it's like running on ice, it seems like drifting, it's so difficult to accelerate the car after exiting a corner, the tires heat up a lot, sometimes enough at 112 degrees, I noticed this in Bahrain, Las Vegas, Austria and Brazil, I can't get out of corners without the car dancing, it's like on ice, even with traction control on, it's impossible to make a good time
- Hansenhaus3 years agoNew Veteran@Decofaybert Your throttle input sounds weird. There is a sudden jump in revs that is not smooth. Perhaps there is a problem with your wheel or controller.
The throttle potentiometer on my G920 got dirty and the input was erratic at times. I sprayed an electronics cleaner (Deoxit) into it and it improved. Eventually I ended up upgrading the potentiometer and it's been rock solid since. - Hansenhaus3 years agoNew Veteran
@DecofaybertAlso keep in mind your rear wing can have an effect on traction. I was having traction problems in Baku using an E-Sports driver's setup. I was quick to blame the game but after raising the front and rear wings by 5 the traction improved enough to where I could drive well.
One thing I noticed is at higher AI levels the AI cars still seem to have a traction advantage with low wings and sometimes blow by on long straights. We now have finer control over the wings so the sweet spot is a little harder to find.
