Phone or device must upload after scanning to the EA cloud then in settings profile you must choose your face scan instead of the pre set models ea has. Once you upload you link it to your game though settings. If phone or device does not finish upload process shut down companion app and restart it and go through the whole scanning face and upload process. Use 5Ghz on wifi to upload and if not working it's most likely due to low memory on phone so either restart phone or restart app and keep trying it's possible even on old phone like a Samsung note 4.
