This definitely happens a lot. Not an upset. I've noticed this game likes to make it harder by limiting the number of games you win. So certain showdown games will be rigged against you. I've noticed the game literally forcing you to lose. For example I've played multiple games where an opposing player with 80 or 76 shooting will make multiple shots with 2guys covering him even against players with elite defense skill. And in that same game one of my guys who may have 90 or 93 shot will miss easy open shots, or will get the ball stolen from him multiple times with 90 something dribble when the other guy isnt even that good a defensive player. It's pretty clear that nba live rigs games against you.
Notice how conveniently the game allowed my opponent to score 21pts in a single showdown match because that's the exact number of points he needed to beat me. Considering how rare and hard it is to score 20+ points on a single showdown turn, and considering how my opponent's players weren't even that highly rated it is clear the match was made easier for him.
I really dont understand why EA thinks this is ok. The whole point of getting highly rated players is to perform better. Nba live should let the players play rather than interfering and giving certain players advantages
