Hello,

My apologies for the delayed response on this, we've had some reports from certain of our players are running into issues when attempting to transfer their game face from the companion app to their console.

We've been looking into this, however in order to get to the bottom of the issue we need more information from you. If you are encountering this issue please get back to us with the information on the mobile device you have been using to upload your game face.

    I download the app, i allow access to my camera, and it just shows a red screen where I'm supposed to scan. It doesn't even give me the ability to scan my face let alone have a problem of transferring from app to console...

    It said that the render failed every time I scanned my face

    Hey roger my gameface has is not loading either it’s like a red screen as if I were to put my thumb in front of the camera not a good experience so far

    Hey Rodger can you find a way to get the face scan to be supported on apple devices that’d be really great.

    Yea I had the same I have a new iPhone 8 Plus and have that issue

    So I’ve been reading everybody’s threads on here. I have the same red screen on a brand new iPhone X. Tried in different WiFi networks, I’ve restarted routers, turned my phone off and on, and deleted and reinstalled the app, which means it’s a developer issue, and not a phone issue. This has obviously been going on a while with other players and I’m just tryna get my face on the dang tv when I play the game. So if there is a fix, what is it, and if there’s not a fix, why the hell isnt there a fix on a 5 month old game?

    Im using the companion app on an iphone 8 plus, and getting the red screen issue as well.

    This is why EA is trash anymore. You need more info when there is a screenshot above? Wtf. Also having the same issue

    I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 and my face is scanned and it's on the app I just can't figure out how to get it on my PlayStation 4 please help me

    I have the same problem my face is not loading to my game but it’s in the app but it’s not going to my game

    The nba companion app does not pair with my Xbox one console. I have nba live 18 and had no issues. This years doesn’t even detect my phone. Why? Is this still an ongoing issue?

    The app wouldn't even scan my face, now I see that if I ever got it to, I still would run into how to upload it, I just uninstalled them both.

    Could we bring it back? It feels more realistic when we have our faces on our characters.
