Re: Terms and Conditions can't be downloaded

After it connects to EA servers, it says It’s downloading the terms and agreements. Then after several seconds says it couldn’t be downloaded. If you try playing online, it’ll say you can’t play without accepting the terms and agreements. My friend and I just bought this to play online while we’re stuck at home. Very frustrating.

I'm having the same issue in my xbox one. I purchased it to play online with a friend in arizona but it always comes back saying it cannot retrieve the terms and conditions and I can't play online until I accept the terms and conditions 

I'm not sure if any of you are still having any trouble with this, but we've seen players fix this by either jumping into a different EA game to accept the Terms and Conditions. It can be done with a trial version downloaded from the Xbox or PlayStation store.

Bless you Blueberry! I also have SSX downloaded to my Xbox One and was able to take care of the TaC through that game, which worked with NBA Jam OFE as well!

I am also having this very same issue where I cant reach the terms and conditions by connecting to EA's servers for Nba Jam On Fire Edition.

I tried nba jam OFE edition on both a xbox 360 and xbox one and was unable to connect on either. While I was at it I tried SSX on my x360 & x1, as well as NFL Blitz on my x360. All three games had the same issue, and for jam and ssx it was the same story with either system. I checked to make sure and none of these games are on the EA deactivated server list.

I downloaded and was able to connect to the EA server and accept terms through the fifa 20 demo, but that didnt change anything when I went back to Jam or SSX.

I also updated my Origin/EA password and made sure that my xbox gamertag was attached to my EA account through the ea.help site for both systems.

I've gotten nothing to work so far so wanted to see of you have another suggestion and to detail what I have attempted to no avail so far.

I have tried all options listed in this thread and still it says unable to retrieved the t an c’s. I downloaded a demo of fifa 2020 to accept the t and c’s and connected Xbox live to ea with no resolution

If the steps here to get you into the game don't work, we've got you covered. Hit up one of our Advisors at our Help site or on Twitter so they can help get this fixed for you. We want to make it easy for you to get into our games and there may be something account related on the back-end resulting you from getting the terms accepted, which is why I think it's best we get someone to pull up your account to double-check.

Just got done chatting with support twice about this issue. Got unfortunate answers and results. I will update later with the convos that I had with support when I get home from work.

The game has been sunset which means its not avalaible for online play. Xbox and ea sports are lying one says its avalaible for online and says they got it from the developer it was and the other says it shouldn't say avalaible for online. I am done with ea sports after the run around because I dont trust their word. I have had a friend buy the game since and his terms and conditions just popped up no issue so ea sports is lying 

I'm having this problem now. The game was working last week. Both NBA jam and fight night don't work 

according to ea sports you shouldn't have been able to go online with NBA jam for a couple years now so see yet again proof ea sports doesn't even know their products 

When I spoke with ea sports in a chat I was told it was sunset and I wouldn't be able to at it online or receive the terms ahd conditions because of it being sunset. Now you say its not hmmmm sounds fishy to me or that the employees don't know what they are talking about 

Yeah...I just chatted with them. I get the impression they don't know what they're talking about.

Yeah and being someone from ea on here is saying its still avalaible but chatting they say no. PLEASE EA SPORTS GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER 

Hey, all.

I received word that multiplayer services have been shut down, therefore if you're being required to accept the Terms of Service within that game it will not work because it can't connect to online services. 

Yeah im the one who brought it up to you 

You'd think instead of saying it offers multi player uoud say single player thats called false advertisement just fyi
