Re: How do I know the “latest” patch has been downloaded?

Hi there, @Javiair

You can check the patch version by hitting the Guide button on your controller and selecting the NHL 24 tile. Then, hit the Menu button. This is the small button to the lower right of the Guide button with the 3 horizontal lines on it. Next, go to Manage game & add-ons. On the right side of the next screen, you'll see the version number. It should say 1.2.1.0.

    @Javiair

    Great glad to hear it. Also, I just noticed your sound bar issue. I have a home theater system and surround is working. Is the sound bar working for other games?

    Sorry for the late response.. the soundbar.. it was my deal, I did some troubleshooting and it worked fine with the headphones on, and restarted my soundbar and it seems to work. It’s not as surround soundy as NHL 22 (I skipped 23) but its still there..

    I can confirm that 1. in BAP the controller settings do not save. Before every game, I have to stop and fix the controller settings. However, it does save from the main title screen, but wont save once you get into your BAP file.  2. Your broadcast last name does not save either. In fact, when I leave the edit player screen and come right back to it, AJ is still the default last name. I tested this out yesterday.. I selected my name, saved it, then went right back to the edit player screen and AJ was selected as the broadcast name. 3. I was playing against the Islanders and noticed that the crowd holding the letters that spelled Islanders actually said “sredanlsI”. It’s Islanders spelled backwards. In NHL 22, Seattle was spelled backwards, but since I’m still in season 1 (I dont sim the games I’m supposed to play as BAP goalie) I haven’t seen all the visiting teams yet so I cant tell you if there are more.

    On the positive side.. I really like the changes to the pressure system. It’s not as influential as when the game came out. I think it’s a fair balance. My goalie doesn’t need a nap after 3 moves and I think you struck a good blanance.. good job.. I still would like to see energy regain between whistles tho. I still dont understand how the play can be dead and my fatigue bar doesn’t go up until the puck is in play.. but hope that is for another patch..

    Hello, @Javiair

    Can you get me a video showing those issues with BaP?

    Glad to hear the soundbar problem was resolved 🙂
