I don't think anyone can answer the question if that ever will happen, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen anytime soon 🙂
People are still buying and playing The Sims 3, if this was to happen it would probably be when the game is not selling anymore. Maybe some time after The Sims 5 is released, if that ever happens!
@AshleighShannen as @CMeki said, Sims 3 continues to be the best-selling Sims so far. So it is doubtful that we will see a Ultimate Collection soon. Also, the Sims 3 store sells quite well the content made available through the store (worlds, venues, sets, items). And as Sims 4 seems that still has an year or two for the run (the usual Sims cycle is around 5 years), i doubt that we will see something like that until 2019 or later.
For now, i confess that i would be really happy to see the original Sims released digitally, along with the Sims Stories series and a re-release of the Sims 2.

Making Magic was my absolute favorite expansion pack, loved the music! *puts on the music* :D
@CMeki @ivrognard Yes that would be such a great thing to have the sims for digital download would be brilliant I loved them all to be honest maybe one day they will do this
