Re: How do I change the currency displayed in the Origin store?

@younabobo3 Hmmm, what's your region?

If you add a game (any game, I'm not looking for a purchase to go through) and go to the checkout, part of the url in your address bar should indicate your currency.

For example I'm in Ireland and the part of the url in question says "cartcheckout/payment?country=IE&currency=EUR" showing it's the Irish store and in Euros.

If you check your URL is should show your store and the currency indicator code for you.

Thanks, and sorry that this is so unclear.

    Here in Brazil it is impossible to shop in Origin without going through the "good buy". That's why I have over thirty games on Steam and only two in Origin. I use Paypal directly with Steam, without middlemen, pay and dowload instantly. But in Origin, when paid through Paypal, I receive emails confirming the charge on my credit card and still need to complete registration in "good buy" and wait up to 24 hours for confirmation. If you perform the purchase on Friday, need to wait until Monday. And I am still obliged to accept an abusive term in "good buy" where they throw the responsibility of any problems in me and still provide my personal information to anyone they see fit, including for those who want to send me advertising. Theoretically this would increase the safety of the user, but the truth is that their safety is ridiculous, all they do is call the phone number that I inform myself. I do not see how this would help to inhibit fraud. I change my PayPal password each time I need to access it through this useless, annoying and unsafe middleman payment method. All of this terrible service would be avoided if i could change my region to USA and pay normaly with paypal without any *y middleman.
