I don't have one favourite, but I think Isaac Clarke of Dead Space deserves a spot on this list:

So does Duke Nukem,

Minsk and Boo and

Edwin (or was it Edwina? 👿) from Baldur's Gate

and the others I forgot.

Wow!

So here are mine:

1. Viconia from BG series (yeah, she deserves that spot)

2. A certain commander Shepard (female version, Jennifer Hale made it much more memorable than Mark Meer - sorry, Mark, but you've been surclassed)

3. Catherine Ironfist (the Might and Magic series, M&M VI-VIII, HOMM 2-3 and Chronicles)

4. Agent Mike Thronton from Alpha Protocol 

5. Geralt - no need for further introductions

6. Aribeth from the first Neverwinter Nights game - yeah, i know most people hated her, i liked her and her story (more about it in the second NWN expansion)

7. Ezio Auditore - by far the best portrayed assassin from the Assassins Creed series

8. Yarny - he's so damn lovable

9. Kane - only the version that we see in the first C&C and the first RA games. After those two, not so much

10.Jennifer Mui from Mercenaries - "Everybody pays!" 😉

11. Sean Devlin - Saboteur, your run of the mill antyhero

12. Selvaria - Valkyria Chronicles, one of the most tragic characters that graced video-games.

Difficult question indeed. There are so many great characters... But currently I would name Kratos! He is like Duke Nukem, but even more bad-ass! He is both ruthless and likable at the same time. More a force of nature, than a character, just destroying everything in his path. And he can`t care less, if the whole world is annihilated in the process.

I thought long and hard and really wanted to include some Blizzard characters as well - mostly Warcraft related. I guess one of my favorites from recent WoW would be Varian Wrynn. I guess you understand that I was quite depressed during the Legion launch..

Another character is from The Witcher. It's Geralt of Rivia.   I have played this game over 200 hours and I did not regret about these spent hours in my life.

And of course Mass Effect. Commander Shepard, the idol of humanity and perhaps fairy tale.  Special thanks to Mark Meer for his awesome voice in the game.

(male) Shepard is definitely one of my favorites as well. Wow - what an emotional journey throughout the Mass Effect series!

Another favorite of mine.. how could I forget the Shy Guy? :D

And of course, Morrigan from Dragon Age!

Definitely the most interesting character in the entire series for me.

Well... we took care (or so I thought) of Flemeth together with Morrigan, so I guess I just didn't like her that much.. :-)

I'm pretty sure the Shy Guys won't fare up well in a fight with the dark side. However, Shy Guy power comes from hiding and popping up at annoying times when you least expect it.. 😃

There is a long list of characters true the years but not that many have actually stuck in my head, most people that know me that I'm a huge Warcraft and Star Wars nerd!

From Warcraft i have to say is Thrall.  An epic character and did a huge amount for the horde but also for the Alliance. 

Great amount of respect to this guy!

I like Revan more as a grey Jedi, he turned away from the dark side by his own free will. That's real power! 😇

That's why I also like Starkiller so much. 🙂

PS: Oh I hope that battlefront 2 will introduce gray jedi characters... Please EA? Pretty, pretty please? 😉

Agree completely with you! Thrall has been huge for Warcraft. In which Expansion did you like his storyline the best?

I certainly love a gray Jedi, but at this point its mystery what else is coming to Battlefront II. We shall see when EA Play goes live - exciting times :D
