just making another post because none of the devs seem to acknowledge this as an actual issue with their game and blame it on drivers.
I am also getting the device hung error with my 5700XT. I never had crashes like this until season 14. I have used DDU to clean my graphics drivers. I have stopped underclocking for Apex. I uninstalled and reinstalled Apex on steam. I have administration access for Apex yet I still crash. I have no idea why it is doing this.
SAME!! Since the mid season update probably 2 weeks before season 14 I started experiencing dxgi error device hung on my 5600 XT. I have never crashed before on apex. Over 15 individual EA help people on Twitter have tried to give me troubleshooting tips but it is 100% the game and Respawn needs to fix the engine or AMD needs to release a driver similar to how NVIDIA just did. I haven’t been able to play ranked all of season 14 so far because of this and it’s annoying. I’m at my wits end with it and we should keep this forum up to date so they fix it. They won’t even acknowledge the issue
It seems quite A LOT of AMD users have the same problem.
I'm using rx 570 ryzen 5 2600.
I tried every fix available and it did none!.
If theres no response by this september but they still working on new content, then we can assure that they want our money but not our satisfaction.

game repair
still crashes
i never had this problems since release, but season 14 is killing me. the game crashes every 10-15 minutes
