Thanks to everyone that had chimed on and shared their data.
They'll be investigating this issue, though as far I'm aware, there's not much known on when there'll be some new development on the situation.
What? No, not at all. No one has responded to this aside from the initial page. I want this thread to stay open until it becomes an issue and draws actual attention not just a fast paced PR/HR response that nothing comes of.

The thread I linked in my post was intended for data collection.
They had received enough data so they had decided to close that thread.
That thread wasn't really intended for raising awareness or discussion, just information for the developers.
This thread however will probably stay open for discussion, support or however you seem fit.
I'm pretty sure there is no reason to close this exact thread we're currently posting it, as it's still relevant.
Technically this isn't really a PR/HR response from them, they've mentioned to me that there wasn't enough movement on the matter to really make a statement on it.
I myself had started a thread to help a dev that requested some data so he could look into it, this caused a bit of a hassle as it might've looked like an official statement.
I'm sorry if that caused some confusion, it was pretty much out of own initative to help with the process, though so far there hasn't been enough progress on the matter to really announce anything.
I can assure you they're looking into it, though I cannot provide an ETA.

Ah okay that makes sense, is there any way you could contact the previous team responsible for data collection and let them know about this thread? There's quite a sizable pool now of people having the same issue.

hope they resolved the issue soon, its such a shame how a game like apex have this kind of problem.
I have tried to some tweak to the game video setting itself, and surely nothing's working, and the crash even become more frequent than ever with 30 minutes mark, and funny enough it happens always in ranked match. In public game i can have 60-90 minute mark before the game crash on me. - XHelperZ3 years agoHero+
I've already been told that they've already gotten enough information to work with, so I don't think there's a need to let them know.
Though I'm pretty sure they're already aware of this thread, so if they need more I'm sure they'll come over to this thread.
These types of issues can be quite hard to resolve, for all I would know, this issue could be completely unrelated to the game itself.
We might see an update on the situation, though I can't promise anything at all.

Prior to my ban I was receiving this error constantly. I completely believe it is related to my ban although TOS won't hear it. I, like many others, have tried all the "standard" solutions including DDU GPU drivers. Installing older GPU drivers didn't help either. For me this was occuring almost every match, occasionally twice in the same match. Hopefully they can fix the game and more people don't get banned because of it.

Thank you. Nice to know this issue is finally getting addressed. I think it might not be that hard to resolve because this only happened after the 400mb anti cheating update 2 month ago. So there should be something wrong with that adoption. I think abandon that newly anti cheating system can be effective, though it sounds ridiculous. I mean I met a cheater yesterday so the system isn’t that useful anyway.

I played APEX 10 hours total but not occured Engine Error.
Have it been already fixed or just my luck?

Yes, you're right. not fixed. I've given up playing APEX. Disappointed.
AMD graphics driver is updated to version 22.9.1 Optional, but I've never trid installing yet. - 3 years ago
no fixes even after second split. half season gone to waste.
only 2 choices, either we amd users quit apex altogether or change to nvidia to continue playing. is that all you want respawn/EA?

I tried the 9.1 version and it begins to crash every single match. Still not fixed. Switching to nvidia is the only solution.
