@Van47Thanks for the heads up. Agree, although its not completely unplayable with everything being washed out like it was from last week, it's still tinny and channel levels way off. No patch notes on today's 137MB update, but the patch notes from the S7 rollout:
We’ve made some advancements in footstep audio playing more reliably. We have more work being done that we’ll continue to roll out as it gets completed.
Seems like it's a work in progress which is very annoying that they would break something so terribly and be like "eh, it'll work out eventually" They pulled this before with something in S1, wish I could remember what it was. Gotta love it when they attempt to fix something that wasn't broke.
@snotweasel At least seems they started to solve the problem, hope this is only a quick start to completely solve it.
After some competitive play, i can tell that the audio levels are still messed up, the improvement with the last unofficial update are not sufficient to make the game playable with 7.1, is better to stick with stereo for now.
- @snotweasel I confirm, nothing changed with 11/18/20 patch.
