Crashing on Windows 10 without errors. While I'm playing during the middle of the game (it never happen at the beginning of the game /dropping), usually while running, sometimes during a fight, my screen would freeze and then crash on windows without showing any errors. Sometimes, it may cause BSOD with different stop codes (kernal power, driver irql not less or equal, page fault in nonpaged area, kernel security check failure, system thread exception not handled etc.) and failure event (nvlddmkm.sys, dxgmms2.sys). The problem occured in season 4 and it continued in season 5. I've done a lot of repairing work for the past month but still failed. Below are what I tried.

RAM: I ran Memtest86 and made sure my RAM is 100% healthy with no errors, 16GB RAM should be way more than enough for Apex.

Nvidia Graphics Card:

First, I unplugged and reinserted the graphics card. Obviously, it looks normal physically.

For Nvidia control panel,  I tried the settings recommended in YouTube but still crashes occur so I eventually reset to default but there are still crashes.

For driver version, I tried to upgrade Nvidia driver to latest version (445.87) which reported to have bugs so I also downloaded 445.98 hotfix and still crashed. Then, I tried to downgrade to 442.92 Studio Driver. The game ran smoothly for half a day but later the game freezed and crashed so i believe it is proved that driver version is not related.

Crashpad in Apex, it only says C0000005 in which I think it is a general error code and doesn't reflect anything.

Windows 10: I updated my Windows 10 and every hardware that are possible to be upgraded to the latest versions. What's more, Repair games, uninstall Realtek Audio, disable fullscreen optimization, run as administrator. I've done pretty much everything I could think of.

No overclock settings for my MSI afterburner. Please advise what I can do.

    @chunkccc

    Right clicking the game in Origin and then choosing Repair should fix this for you, thanks.

  • Did you ever find out a fix for this?? I'm having the exact same issue and have tried to repair the game multiple times.  I've done everything you have done in the post and have yet to come up with a solution.
