I see you are also having the issue. Since the last update of the s8 I've been having lots of crashed and the same issues mentioned above. My guns are invisible, no sound and then games crashes and the ps4 goes blue, the code is the same as the one mentioned before in other comments

Hi there,
Thanks for the updates! CE-34878-0 is the general error code that comes up when an application stops working on PlayStation 4, so I'm afraid it doesn't give us a lot of context on what exactly might be causing the crashes. If you're seeing issues with missing textures leading up to the crashes it sounds like this might be an issue with the game data itself. Unfortunately there isn't an option to repair a game installation on PS4. Instead we would need to fully uninstall and reinstall the game. I know that can be time consuming, but if you can try reinstalling the game I would really appreciate it.
Please let me know how it goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

I have the exact same problem as the other people described. I have reinstalled the game two times now. Eventually my PS4 crashed and I needed to reinstall my Software which deleted everything.
My connection is fine and every other game runs perfectly on it (PS4 Slim 2019 btw).
I don’t know if this helps but here are my exact informations:Systemsoftware: 8.03
System: PS4 Slim 1 TB from end of 2019.
Apex Version: Version 1.58 (just updated recently)
I am also using a Bluetooth Headset from Turtle Beach.Maybe someone from this thread has any similarities?
I know that Apex works fine for a friend of mine who has a fresh PS4 slim version.
PS: I have never had issues when I played Season 01 to 03 but I stopped and wanted to play in Season 08 again. But it is unplayable as of nowAnd yes I also get the PS Freeze Error code as well.

Hey everyone,
Are you all getting the exact same error code that was mentioned earlier in this thread, or are you seeing something different?

Do you have Apex Legends installed on an external storage drive, or is it installed on the drive that's built into your PS4?

When you have the chance can you try rebuilding the database on your PS4 to see if that helps? If there are any issues with the database files that might be causing these crashes that could help to get around it.
To rebuild the database first start up your PS4 in Safe Mode. Once the Safe Mode menu comes up choose the Rebuild Database option. Please let me know if you're still running into any crashes after that.
Thanks again,

I just did that, and nothing changed
First the audio goes, and then the game freeze.
After that, error code CE-34878-0 - EA_Kent5 years ago

Thanks for giving it a try. The next thing we should try is fully uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself. If the crashes are happening because of an issue with the game data that may help fix it.
I know that can be time consuming, but if you're able to give it a try I'd really appreciate it. Let me know if you're still seeing any crashes happening afterward. Thanks!

So, after the recent update my game is not crashing always anymore 🙏🏽. But, now the servers are just unplayable. I’m always kicked from the match.

Thanks for the update!
The code:net error means the connection to the game is timing out. Let's try out some connectivity troubleshooting to see if we can help stop this from happening. When you have the chance I'd recommend running through the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps from the EA Help website first. Those can help with some of the most common issues we see.
If you're still running into any disconnections after that please check out the PlayStation-specific steps as well. Let me know how that goes once you've had the chance to give it a shot. Thanks!

I've just try all os this, and nothing of them works
But recently I deleted the game from my ps4, and download it again. And something that I've notice is that when the game is not on 100% downloaded it just works normally, without any bug or other thing.
It might an issue with the HD texture from the game - EA_Kent5 years ago

Interesting, thanks for the update! Once the HD textures are installed it starts crashing again?

Got it, thanks. Do you currently have boost mode enabled in the PS4 Pro settings? If so, can you try disabling that to test and see if that makes any difference?

Do you have Apex Legends installed on an external storage drive, or is it saved to the drive that's built into your PS4?

Got it, thanks.
I think it would be best to reach out to PlayStation Support at this point to see if they can offer any insight on what might be causing these crashes. For more information on how to set up a case with them check out the PlayStation Support website.
