    Both will have the same core EA account, and due to this, they won't work for cross-play, our system will see them as they same account, despite one being linked to a Microsoft account.

Hi I’m trying to PS4 account to an Xbox account using the same email address, is this the same issue ? Would changing email on account work?

@drake_ripple I really believe what you're talking about is cross-progression which is not possible yet. In fact, we are actually talking about the exact opposite, that is that we are having issues on playing with our own relatives (or friends) on our own different platforms (mostly pc+console) but with the same account. We can play only if there is another person who invites us in the same party or if one between us and our relative/friend invites the other one after you left the party and you have the possibility to invite a former player who you played with.

I'm really sad that this problem is not being addressed yet...
